Owen No Good For No One Now LP (Vinyl)
Combining the intricate beauty of his first LP with bite, honesty, wry, and raw emotion, Owen (aka Mike Kinsella) turns out his most heartfelt songwriting. To record No Good For No One Now, Mike moved back home to his mom's house and converted his old bedroom into a recording studio. During the recording, Mike decided that the cover image should be a print that hung in his mom's house during his childhood. As it turns out, the painting is by a German artist named Charlot Byi, who's figurines and artwork from the 1940's and 1950's are highly collectable today. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Xiu Xiu OH NO 2LP (Solid Cream & Solid Scarlet Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;New Xiu Xiu Duets Album On Double Vinyl LP! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Pressed On Solid Cream & amp; Solid Scarlet Color Vinyl! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;Xiu Xiu makes beautiful music for hard times. For nearly 20 years, the band has a track record of crafting experimental music for moments when life's harsh realities meet its existential mysteries. On the latest album, Jamie Stewart explores a recent revelation and is reminded of the power of the band's music to surprise and connect. Listening to the songs on OH NO, it is hard to feel truly alone. Instead, it is a reminder that even when we're alone, we're alone together. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;OH NO, the group's newest album, is an album of duets, with Stewart sharing the stage with an array of guests who have made an impact on him personally and musically. This is the first Xiu Xiu album where every song spotlights Jamie Stewart and a collaborator. The album features artists across the musical spectrum, including Sharon Van Etten, Circuit des Yeux's Haley Fohr, Grouper's Liz Harris, Alice Bag, Chelsea Wolfe, Owen Pallet, and Twin Shadow's George Lewis Jr., all drift into Xiu Xiu's distinctive soundworld. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The album was born out of anguish and isolation, but exists as it does because of a profound rediscovery of community and friendship. It is the sound of finding one's place in the world after the destructive powers of jealousy and mistrust make any map seemingly unreadable. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.allmusic.com & quot; & gt; Embodying hard times as well as the way friends lift each other out of them, Oh No also exemplifies the drama, mystery, and deeply felt emotions that have made Xiu Xiu a vital musical force for decades. & lt;footer & gt; -Heather Phares, AllMusic.com, 4/5 stars & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/yialek4fUUg & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Double Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Solid Cream & amp; Solid Scarlet Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gatefold Jacket & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Limited-Time Digital Download Card & lt;/li & gt; & lt;!--More features go here in & lt;li & gt; tags-- & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sad Mezcalita (feat.
