This album explores the creative process that gave birth to nearly all the Stooges albums. Starting with a jam session, an oldie or two, or maybe a blues riff, the songs gradually took shape and were refined from there. Here we find the Stooges in rehearsal, messing around with songs by Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, Cream, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. We hear the beginnings of songs that never went any further, such as & quot;Old King Live Forever & quot;, & quot;I Come From Nowhere & quot; or & quot;Wild Love & quot;, which had as much potential as any of their best material. And we have some very impromptu jams such as & quot;Move Ass Baby & quot; and a fascinating James Williamson solo performance. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold 3-Sided Double LP! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; LP 1 & lt;br & gt; Side A & lt;/b & gt; (Gem Demos - Olympic Studios): & lt;br & gt; 1. Formed in late 1971 and initially known as Actress, the earliest incarnation featured bassist Arthur Kane, guitarist Rick Rivets and the guitarist that would become Johnny Thunders, with drummer Billy Murcia and singer David Johansen; soon, Rivets was replaced by Egyptian-born Sylvain Sylvain. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Decked out in androgynous clothing, including platform boots, lipstick and body stockings, The Dolls toured England in 1972, which was ruptured by Murcia's tragic alcohol-and-drugs-related death, bringing Jerry Nolan into the group. Signing to Mercury, they issued a self-titled debut, followed by Too Much Too Soon, but disappointing sales saw Mercury drop them. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Live At Radio Luxembourg was recorded in December 1973 and features hot live versions of songs from these two seminal studio albums; with plenty of banter delivered in cod-French accents between the tracks, the set reveals the group in their prime, their no-limits attitude taking the form of raucous guitar riffs, shouted vocals, crashing drums and driving bass, and in addition to classic Dolls like & quot;Puss N Boots & quot; and & quot;Jet Boy, & quot; there are some blues references, too. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Recorded live at Radio Luxembourg, Paris, Dec. 1973 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Import & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Intro & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Personality Crisis & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bad Girl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Looking For A Kiss & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Give Her A Great Big Kiss & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Stranded In The Jungle & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pills & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Vietnamese Baby & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Trash & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Chatterbox & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Jet Boy & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;
