Fluid Audio Fluid Audio Desktop Stand 4"-6" (Pair)
The Fluid Audio DS5 desktop stand is designed for use with all 4 and 5 in. 2-way studio monitors. It comes with the ability to elevate your monitor to two heights: 2.5 and 5 in. With the included rubber feet, the stand becomes an acoustic isolation system that can adjust to 3 angles: Flat, 3 and 6 degrees of tilt. Elevating your monitors closer to ear level means you get better on-axis response. High frequencies coming from tweeters are somewhat directional, so getting them up and closer to ear level means you hear a more full-frequency response. Made from MDF wood (the same material as your monitor enclosures), the Fluid Audio DS5 desktop stand is rugged and acoustically well damped. The stand posts are made with polypropylene, minimizing the ringing sound of ABS plastic. Both top and bottom of the stands are capped off with extremely absorbent, 40 durometer rubber feet. The result of the stand construction allows your monitors to produce much purer tones and a less distorted midrange. Features: Fits all 4” and 6” studio monitorsAllows for 2 height adjustments: 2.5 ” and 5”Allows for 3 angle adjustments: Flat, 3° and 6°Specifications/Material: Middle stabilizers: Vinyl-laminated MDF Stands: Polypropylene plasticRubber: Highly absorbent, 40 DurometerSize (packed): 7.48 x 6.06 x 4.64 ?Weight: 2.0 lbs

Fluid Audio Classic Series C5 5" Powered Studio Monitor (Pair)
The Classic Series C5 studio monitor from Fluid Audio redefines the sound quality of a “budget” studio monitor. Having more than 23 years designing speakers, it’s somewhat easy to design great sounding monitors using expensive components and unique, “space age” materials. What Fluid set out to do was more of a challenge: Create an extraordinary sounding studio monitor – using just ordinary, “classic” technologies and components. No Beryllium…No Titanium…just proven technologies and components put together to sound great… and at an attractive price point. With TRS and RCA inputs and 40 watts of total power, the C5 is perfect for any desktop monitoring application.

Fluid Audio Strum Buddy Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp Black
You may know Fluid Audio from the great near-field studio monitor speakers it produces. The company considers this mini guitar combo amplifier just like its monitors: A great sounding reference for the music you’re creating. The Strum Buddy was born out of the desire for convenience and portability (two things guitar players greatly appreciate). All guitarists like to sit and noodle around on their guitars. It’s relaxing and a great way to expand your abilities. However, when you're sitting on your couch, it’s not so easy to bring your amplifier over, plug it in, get the sounds you want, etc. Plus, you’re always tethered to your amp by your instrument cable. Wouldn’t it be great to have a small amp you could stick to your guitar and play with no cord? Mounting to your guitar using a rubber suction cup, the Strum Buddy is a 6W guitar amplifier, powered by an internal rechargeable battery. It not only lets you hear and monitor your electric guitar, but allows you to play through the onboard guitar effect sounds, such as distortion, chorus and reverb.

Fluid Audio FPX7 2-Way Coax 7 Inch Active Studio Monitor, Single
Fluid Audio's FPX7 Studio Monitor is a 2-way coaxial speaker, with an Air Motion Transformer tweeter and a paper pulp woofer; the tweeter is mounted onto the woofer for a tight vertical off-axis response. Each channel delivers 140W RMS of A/B bi-amplified power. While the 7" woofer and bass-reflex slot port cover the low end, the 1.1 x 1.7" tweeter is built to give accurate transient response for low distortion. To match the FPX7 to your production environment, you can apply a low-frequency shelf with the adjustable Acoustic Space Control, minimizing boundary effects. The FPX7 has three trim options, enabling high-frequency adjustments. For clean low-noise power and a lot of headroom, Fluid Audio uses a toroidal transformer in the power supply. Fluid Audio aims to decrease standing waves in the FPX7 cabinet by constructing it with medium-density fiberboard, which has internal damping properties, and by rounding the sides of the enclosure. The external heat sink is engineered to reduce cabinet temperatures for optimum performance. Each channel delivers bi-amplified 140W Class A/B amplification (90W woofer / 50W tweeter) AMT tweeter for transparent audio Tweeter mounted in center of woofer for tighter vertical off-axis response DSP for fine-tuning Full-range symmetrical sound Acoustic Space Control enables calibration to your mixing environment High-frequency trim control Bass-reflex slot port for expanded low frequency 4-position volume fader on front baffle Automatic standby function External heat sink

Fluid Audio FPX7 2-Way Coax 7 Inch Active Studio Monitor, Single
Fluid Audio FX8 8-Inch Coaxial 2-way Studio Reference Monitor, Black
The Fader Series FAFX8 studio reference monitor was born out of trying to solve a common studio problem, that of getting enough bass out of a low-profile studio monitor. Most 8" studio monitors are 15" tall, which in a lot of project and professional studios, can obstruct the view of the tracking area. A lot of studios battle this problem by putting the monitors on their side, which can skew speaker imaging because the high-frequency energy is bouncing off the surface they're sitting on. Additionally, the vertical off-axis response is now the horizontal off-axis response, which minimizes the sweet spot in the listening position. Fluid Audio solved this by creating a coaxial 2-way design (or dual concentric), with the tweeter mounted in the center of the woofer. The second benefit of the Coaxial design is that you now have all frequencies (bass and midrange from the woofer and high frequencies from the tweeter) radiating from the same point in space. This is huge because suddenly your off-axis response is much more consistent (meaning your sweet spot is bigger and more even), and the speaker's response doesn't change whether they are standing up or laying down. The tweeter waveguide was designed in such a way (using the same geometry as the F5 waveguide) to maximize the low frequency response of the tweeter and better integrate with the woofer. Using a 4th order crossover we were able to make the drivers phase coherent, and create a seamless transition between woofer and tweeter. Getting the phase correct between the drivers is crucial to having great midrange, with depth and transparency. The FAFX8s also include all of the great features and benefits of the other Fader Series speakers as well. The amplifier supplies 130 watts of Class A/B power to each cabinet, and the heat sink and standby circuit allow them to operate conveniently and reliably. The Fader volume control and bass reflex port on the front baffle allow for ease of use and placement. Whether you're mixing music in a professional studio or just your home project studio, the FAFX8's work perfectly with all types of music.

Fluid Audio FX80 8" 2-Way Coaxial 110W Powered Reference Monitor, Single
Introducing our new FX series of coaxial studio monitors.Improving on our successful FX8, we now introduce the FX80.We have taken users feedback and improved on all points. We will claim this is the best sounding studio monitor below $500New, contoured baffle enclosure designKeeping true to the original "keyhole" design, the FX enclosure has been updated with a complex radius front baffle, which not only looks pretty cool, it improves cabinet defraction.Dual concentric "coaxial" driver Mounted in the center of the woofer is a 30mm silk dome tweeter in a coaxial configuration. Using this technology (unique in its price range) makes it a "point source" device, meaning that all the sound emanates from a single point - not points that are 10" apart. This is crucial for improving off-axis response, but also allows for a more compact footprint cabinet.Boundary compensation DIP switchesSometimes the spaces where we mix aren't the most forgiving acoustically (especially if you're in a home studio). The FX series monitors come equipped with boundary control EQ switches, that allow you to compensate for spaces that may not have been "tuned" or just need to be adjusted due to their proximity to the wall behind them. There is also a guide conveniently printed on the rear panel to show how the DIP switches work, and a more detailed explanation in the user guide.Class D and DSP poweredAnother update from the Fader Series is Class-D amplification. More clean, reliable power, more headroom, and also a standalone powerful DSP integration. The digitally controlled crossover makes each speaker more consistent. The new FX series is truly a 21st Century reference monitor at home in any recording studio.LED indicator on front baffleThe illuminated LED on the front panel is not only a status indicator, displaying whether the FX monitor is on, off or in standby, but also acts as an alignment beacon which allows you to properly align your speakers to your ear level.Front-loaded slot port designThe bass-reflex slot port tunes the cabinet to maximize the bass output efficiency of the speaker. It is placed on the front panel not only to directly radiate the bass energy towards the listener, but also for flexibility of placement in your studio.Updated Tweeter Grille protectionThe FX coax design, with the tweeter suspended in the middle of the woofer, is very robust. As such, it provides outstanding protection for the woofer itself. However, the tweeter needs protection as well, this is why we added a small, steel perforated grille to protect the delicate silk diaphragm of the tweeter."Imaging and Depth"It's one thing to put high quality speaker drivers in a cabinet with an amplifier and call it a great speaker. But for a transparent reference monitor, that is only the beginning.Painstaking crossover design and listening sessions were undertaken to optimize not only a flat on-axis frequency response, but a depth of soundstage that has become the hallmark of Fluid Audio monitors. This ensures that your mix will not only sound great on your FX speakers, but will translate to speaker systems outside the studio as well.
