Highest performance multichannel digital audio including 7.1 channels of LPCM and HBR (High Bit Rate) digital audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio are also supported. The GefenTV 4x1 Switcher for HDMI with RS232 switches between any of four Hi-Def sources to one HDTV display. Resolutions up to 1080p Full HD with multichannel digital audio are supported. The front panel LEDs show the currently selected source. This 4x1 Switcher has an auto-switching feature: If a new source is connected or turned on, the Switcher will automatically switch to that input. The 4x1 Switcher will revert to the previous input once the current device is turned off or disconnected. The Sender and Receiver units can be automatically or manually configured to unique IP addresses to allow the connection of multiple Senders and Receivers to the same network. Multiple Receiver units can simultaneously connect to any Sender unit within the network to create a virtual crosspoint matrix of 256 Senders and up to a theoretical limit of just over 65,000 units total, depending on the network bandwidth and number of ports on the network switch. Any combination of HDMI, DVI, and VGA Senders and Receivers can be used**.
