Xenon 1902 incorporates a Bluetooth Class 2, v2.1 radio, enabling unrestricted movement up to 33 feet (10m) from the base. Honeywell's Shift-PLUS power management system provides up to 14 hours of battery life, maximizing productivity. For added convenience, a paging system helps locate misplaced scanners. A new space-saving design that mounts critical components on a single board eliminates the need for connectors. The new SpectrAlert Advance selectable output speaker strobes and dual evacuation speakers can reduce ground faults and allow faster installation. The SpectrAlert Advance Series of speakers and speaker strobes is designed to reduce ground faults. The plug-in design allows the installer to pre-wire mounting plates and dress the wires before plugging in the speakers. The plastic cover ?prevents nicked wires by covering exposed speaker components. This design also allows faster installations with instant feedback to ensure that wiring is properly connected, rotary switches to select voltage and power settings, and 11 field selectable candela settings for wall and ceiling speaker strobes. Carbon monoxide (CO) / Smoke detector shall be a System Sensor model number COSMO-4W, listed to UL 268 for Fire Protection Signaling Systems and to UL 2075 for Carbon Monoxide Gas Detection. The detector shall be photoelectric smoke sensing and electrochemical CO sensing and equipped with a sounder capable of Temp 3 and Temp 4 audible signals. The detector shall have nominal sensitivity of 2.5 percent per foot as measured in the UL smoke box. The detector shall be capable of automatically adjusting its sensitivity by means of drift compensation and smoothing algorithms. The detectors base shall be able to mount to a single-gang electrical box or direct (surface mount) to the wall or ceiling. Wiring connections shall be made by means of SEMS screws. The detector shall provide LED indication that blinks to indicate normal standby, smoke alarm, smoke maintenance, CO alarm, CO trouble/ end-of-life. When the detector is in CO trouble condition, it shall send a trouble signal to the panel. The detector shall provide a means to test CO gas entry into the CO sensing cell. The detector shall provide this with a test mode that accepts CO gas from a test agent and alarms immediately upon sensing CO entry. The 2-wire model shall include a maintenance signal to indicate the need for maintenance at the alarm control panel and shall provide a loop testing capability to verify the circuit without testing each detector individually. Powered by Adaptus® Imaging Technology 6.0, the Xenon 1902 delivers superior bar code scanning and digital image capture. The Xenon 1902 incorporates a revolutionary decoding architecture that combines Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.5 and Omniplanar’s SwiftDecoder™ software along with a custom sensor, enabling extended depth of field, faster reading, and improved scanning performance on poor quality bar codes. From high-density linear to 2D bar codes found directly on the screen of a mobile device, the Xenon 1902 decodes virtually all bar codes with ease.
The Xenon 1902 incorporates a Bluetooth Class 2, v2.1 radio, enabling unrestricted movement up to 33 ft (10m) from the base. Honeywell’s Shift-PLUS™ power management system provides up to 14 hours of battery life, maximizing productivity. For added convenience, a paging system helps locate misplaced scanners.
A new space-saving design that mounts critical components on a single board eliminates the need for connectors. A more reliable design with fewer components minimizes downtime and improves serviceability, resulting in increased productivity. Its small form factor ensures that the Xenon 1902 fits well in nearly any sized hand, reducing fatigue.
