Radial Engineering IceCube IC-1 Balanced Line Isolator and Hum Eliminator
The Radial IceCube IC-1 is a balanced line level isolator designed to quickly eliminate hum and buzz problems in an audio system by simply inserting it into the signal path.Measuring just over 4" x 1 ½" (10 x 4cm), the compact design begins with two super-duty glass-filled nylon XLRs at each end with heavy duty nickel-silver contacts that will not tarnish over time. Unlike other isolators that are made of plastic, the IceCube is made from solid 16 gauge steel and finished in a tough powder coat. The steel outer shell is not only more durable, it provides excellent shielding against electromagnetic fields radiated by power cables, dimmers, motors and power supplies - delivering consistently quieter results when deployed. This is augmented with a 'set & forget' ground lift switch to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.Inside the IceCube, a proprietary Eclipse transformer isolates the input from the output and blocks stray DC currents. While small transformers rarely perform well below 100Hz, the IceCube is exceptionally linear from 20Hz to 18kHz. It is also able to withstand up to +10dB at 20Hz with less than 0.01% distortion. It is a quick and easy problem solver that will eliminate noise without limiting the bandwidth or introducing phase shift, harsh sound or unpleasant artifacts. These features combine to make the IceCube an ideal problem solver for the AV technician and audio engineer that work in the fast-paced world of live touring, AV rentals and system integration.

Radial Engineering R8007203 Big Shot Mix Pedal Signal True Bypass Effects Mixer
The Radial Engineering Bigshot Mix True Bypass Effects Mixer is an innovative pedal that solves the problem of signal coloration and degradation that occurs with the use of effects. As all guitarists and bassists know, effect pedals can often introduce noise along with the desired effect. They can also color your tone. The Bigshot Mix provides a buffer between your signal path and your effects loop. The amount of effect mixed with your clean signal is adjustable, and a polarity switch can be adjusted to account for the 180-degree phase variance most effect pedals introduce. The result is exactly the amount of effect saturation desired, with none of the problems usually associated with effects chains. Built from 14-gauge steel and heavy-duty hardware for years of hard work, the Bigshot Mix is the "fix" that allows your effects to fulfill their potential without overpowering the natural tone of your guitar. Radial Engineering RAD-SB-4 48V Compact Active DI for Piezo Pickups Low-Cut Filter Phantom
The Radial StageBug SB-4 is a compact active direct box that has been optimized for use with piezo transducers. This enables violin- dobro- mandolin- cello- upright bass and other instruments that are best amplified using a piezo to be connected without compromising the tone or frequency response. The design begins with a 1/4- input for the instrument pickup. Unlike typical direct boxes that have a 1meg-ohm input impedance- the SB-4 features a very high 10meg-ohm impedance that smoothes out troublesome peaks that give piezos a bad name. The higher impedance also broadens the frequency response for a more natural and pleasing sound. The active circuit performs the high-to-low impedance conversion and balances the signal to enable long runs upwards to 100 meters without loss- delivering spectacular linearity and low distortion throughout the audio range. To help eliminate feedback on stage- the SB-4 is equipped with a high-pass filter and 180A polarity reverse switch. The high pass filter eliminates excessive bottom end which in turn reduces resonance that can cause the top of the instrument to vibrate. The 180A polarity reverse helps reduce acoustic hot spots on stage by changing the phase relationship between the PA system and room acoustics which can combine at certain frequencies to create peaks. Reversing the polarity eliminates the acoustic peak without resorting to severe equalization which only serves to compromise the natural tone of the instrument. Connections include an AUX out for a stage amplifier plus a standard XLR output to feed the PA. Power is derived from the console's 48V phantom- thus eliminating the need for batteries or external supply. One simply connects- turns on the phantom power and plays! These features combined with the compact size make the StageBug SB-4 the perfect companion for orchestral artists- blue grass players and pop string quartets that need to turn it up when in concert.
