The MobileSTOR MS8X12G provides use 12G SAS technology with 2x 12G SFF-8644 mini-SAS HD cables, up to 12G in 4 lane = 48 Gb/s or 4,800MB/s of data bandwidth for incredibly fast throughput per cables. The MS8X12G supports both SATA 6Gb/s or SAS 6Gb/s and 12Gb/s solid state drives and hard drives and is backwards compatible with 3Gb/s SAS & SATA SSD and HDDs. The MS8X12G can support up to 8 SAS or SATA drives using only two mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) cable.
