The Shape 15mm is a part of solution for advanced video accessories like matte boxes, 35mm lens adapter and follow focus mechanisms. The 15mm Rod System holds the weight of these accessories so no additional weight is put on the lens. The 15mm Rod System consists of a bracket and two 15mm aluminum rods. The rods are 8" (20.3 cm) long and have 1/2-13 threaded female tips. It is possible to screw other 15mm rods. The 15mm Rod System is attached to the front of the camera supports using a 4mm hexagonal key. It can easily be removed when not needed.The rods can be moved along the bracket in order to adjust their horizontal position. Simply unscrew the small knob, position the rods and screw the knob tightly to keep the rods in place. No tool is required to adjust the horizontal position of the rods. The height of the rods is adjustable by up to 1 3/8" (3.5 cm) in order to match the height of the video accessory. For example, you may have to lower the rods in order to match the height of a matte box. A 4mm hexagonal key is required to adjust the height of the rods.

The handle is fixed with a Shape Standard ARRI rosette that you install on the camera. The handle is then secured with a ratchet knob screw on the rosette. The remote extension handle includes their patented red push button technology that allows the handle a 360 degrees of rotation. The simplest way to adjust a handle! With a press of your thumb, you can adjust the angle of the handle; this will make your work easier. The length of the arm is 14cm (5 5/8") and the adjustment length is 5 cm (2"). The Sony handle is fixed on the extension arm with the same mechanism used to install the handle on the camera. All the accessories for the Sony FS5 are compatible with each other.
