Father John Misty God's Favorite Customer LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Fourth Album On Vinyl LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Written largely in New York between summer 2016 and winter 2017, Josh Tillman’s fourth Father John Misty LP, God’s Favorite Customer, reflects on the experience of being caught between the vertigo of heartbreak and the manic throes of freedom. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; God’s Favorite Customer reveals a bittersweetness and directness in Tillman’s songwriting, without sacrificing any of his wit or taste for the absurd. From & quot;Mr. Tillman, & quot; where he trains his lens on his own misadventure, to the cavernous pain of estrangement in & quot;Please Don’t Die, & quot; Tillman plays with perspective throughout to alternatingly hilarious and devastating effect. & quot;We’re Only People (And There’s Not Much Anyone Can Do About That) & quot; is a meditation on our inner lives and the limitations we experience in our attempts to give and receive love. It stands in solidarity with the title track, which examines the ironic relationship between forgiveness and sin. Together, these are songs that demand to know either real love or what comes after, and as the album progresses, that entreaty leads to discovering the latter’s true stakes. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; God's Favorite Customer was produced by Tillman and recorded with Jonathan Rado (Foxygen), Dave Cerminara (Jonathan Wilson, Foster the People, Conor Oberst), and Trevor Spencer (FJM). The album features contributions from Haxan Cloak, Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood, longtime collaborator Jonathan Wilson, and members of Misty’s touring band. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Josh Tillman has built a career out of his biting, deconstructionist wit, setting his sights on subjects as lofty and universal as romantic love, the American dream, even the human condition. But left unchecked, that wit can curdle into exhausting self-importance and cynicism. He's at his best when he turns it inwards — as he does on God's Favorite Customer, a lean, focused collection of lush and intimate heartbreak songs that further blurs the distinction between Father John Misty the persona and Josh Tillman the man. Maybe not everybody has to be the greatest story ever told, but this is one tale that's well worth hearing. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Stereogum, The 50 Best Albums Of 2018 So Far & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Single-pocket jacket & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Foil-stamped jacket & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Die-cut custom dust sleeve & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Limited time full album MP3 download code & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Postal Service Give Up LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Vinyl LP Featuring & quot;Such Great Heights! & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; You can spend all the time and money in the world trying to craft the perfect pop-music scenario, but sometimes the stars have to align all by themselves. Even though early on the members of The Postal Service jokingly referred to “Such Great Heights” as “the hit” on their debut album, Give Up, there’s no way anyone could have predicted the eventual impact made by a mail-order album designed in a pair of West Coast bedrooms. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It’s been 10 years since the little project that could from Seattelite Ben Gibbard (aka Death Cab For Cutie’s frontman) and Angeleno Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel,Figurine) emerged from seemingly nowhere and began to burrow into the ears of anyone who came into contact with the band’s infectious electro-pop. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Of course, the band’s music was more than just electro-pop, and the force with which Jimmy and Ben captured the indie-rock zeitgeist of the early aughts made them more of a phenomenon than just a regular old band. That such artists as Ben Folds, Amanda Palmer, Streetlight Manifesto, and Confide have covered “Such Great Heights” is a testament to both the song’s magical spark and its melodic inclusivity. The band’s sound is such a touchstone that “Postal Service-esque” has become a generally accepted musical adjective. And it goes way beyond Owl City. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; While it was impossible to anticipate how massive Give Up would become, it was obvious in 2003 that these guys had made something special. Ten years on it’s amazing to know that so many people have come to agree. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Ben Gibbard's famously bittersweet vocals and sharp, sensitive lyrics imbue Give Up with more emotional heft than you might expect from a synth pop album...The album exploits the contrast between the cool, clean synths and Gibbard's all-too-human voice to poignant and playful effect... & quot; & lt;/b & gt; -Heather Phares, allmusic.com & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;It's quaint to think of it now: Electronic musician Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard named their project Postal Service because they used to send demos back and forth to each other – in the good old-fashioned U.S. Mail. In a way, that suits the glitchy, retro computer pop the duo made on Give Up... Songs like 'Such Great Heights' – whose inclusion on the soundtrack to Garden State elevated the album's profile – and 'Nothing Better' bubbled with sweet little blips and bloops and bright patches of synth-manipulated strings whose crispness balanced Gibbard’s delicate warble. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; -Rolling Stone & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Includes Download Coupon & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side One: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Shins Chutes Too Narrow LP (Vinyl)
& quot;The Shins’ sophomore album is a joy from start to finish, though it’s rather different from their 2001 leftfield pop genius stunner Oh, Inverted World. That album was like a warm embrace from a long-lost pal. True to its title, all of the songs were of a piece, seeming to inhabit one landscape, with an invitingly similar sound throughout. Chutes is more far-reaching and decidedly eclectic. Each song is essentially its own genre exercise. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt;1. The Shins Oh, Inverted World LP (Vinyl)
Here's what we had to say about the Shins debut record circa 2001. Hailing from Albuquerque, NM, The Shins sprung from the ashes of Flake/Flakemusic in 1997 (though those previous incarnations date back nearly a decade) – same members, different instruments, different approach. Counterpoint guitars have given way to a single guitar pitted against calculated keyboard passages; swarming indie rock machinations led to pop-based melodic endeavors (who knew?). & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Iron & Wine Woman King 12" Vinyl EP
Aside from the immediacy and intimacy of his recorded work, there is one thing clear about Iron & amp; Wine’s Sam Beam: he is wonderfully and seemingly effortlessly prolific. In just short of 2 years he has released 2 full-length albums and two EPs. Recorded in August 2004 with Brian Deck at his Engine Studios in Chicago, Iron & amp; Wine’s latest release, the Woman King EP, is striking both for its broadened palette (percussion, piano, violin, even electric guitar all crop up here) and its thematic focus on female characters both archetypal and personal. The latter is mostly coincidental, a larger batch of songs yielding recurrent imagery when pared down for this EP. That negotiation with the sexual other might be best summed up with a line from “My Lady’s House”: & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; “Thank god you see me the way you do/Strange as you are to me.” And, the increasingly complex beauty of Iron & amp; Wine’s albums might best be summed up by the following, from SPIN (in a review of Our Endless Numbered Days): “It all works because Beam is a fearlessly accessible songwriter, framing his melancholy in concrete imagery and solid, inviting melodies. He writes with the self-confidence of a man at peace with his gauzy gufts. He sings like a father talking to a child he respects or like a husband to a wife he adores. Beam has given us his second straight masterwork: self-assured, spellbinding and richly, refreshingly adult.” Here’s his third. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Band Of Horses Everything All The Time LP (Vinyl)
Achieving musical transcendence is a tricky feat, almost definitively. If it happens at all, it happens naturally — and perhaps nobody knows that better than Seattle, Washington’s Band of Horses. Guitarist/vocalist Ben Bridwell and bassist Mat Brooke formed Band of Horses in 2004, after the dissolution of their nearly ten-year run in northwest melancholic darlings Carissa’s Wierd. Carissa’s Wierd trafficked in sadly beautiful orchestral pop, whose songs told unflinching stories of heartbreak and loss, leavened with defeatist humor. And, Band of Horses rises from the ashes of that well-loved band. After playing music with each other for over a decade, Bridwell and Brooke picked up together again when Bridwell began fleshing out his compositions post-Carissa’s. “It was really just a natural thing we started doing,” explains Bridwell. Buoyed by Bridwell’s warm, reverb-heavy vocals (which strangely channel a dichotomous blend of Wayne Coyne, Brian Wilson and Doug Martsch,) Band of Horses’ woodsy, dreamy songs ooze with amorphous tension, longing and hope. At times raggedly epic (“The Great Salt Lake”) and delicately pensive (“St. Augustine,” “Monsters”), Everything All the Time is an album painted gorgeously in fragile highs and lows. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Low Drums And Guns LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;Featured in Michael Fremer's Heavy Rotation in the July 2007 Issue of Stereophile! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Formed in 1993, Low is from Duluth, Minnesota, and features Alan Sparhawk on vocals and guitar, Mimi Parker on vocals and drums, and Matt Livingston on bass and vocals. Sparhawk and Parker are married with two children; they first met in fourth grade in rural Minnesota. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Drums and Guns is the band's eight full-length album and second for Sub Pop. It's also, after 2005's the Great Destroyer, the second album they've recorded with producer Dave Fridmann. Drums and Guns features a number of songs that ardent Low fans will recognize from the band's recent live shows. These songs appear here in substantially altered forms, as though they've been taken apart and reassembled in striking new ways, or seen with new eyes. Or, given the lyrical emphasis on murder and death, a more insightful interpretation might see the band killing these songs and bringing them back to life anew. There's no contrivance here, however. While these songs feature new elements (looped vocals, drum machines, etc.) and are thoroughly, radiantly contemporary, they remain undeniably Low's. Drums and Guns possesses the unique, subtle beauty and power we've come to expect from Low, but the record is also profoundly exciting in ways that it's easy to forget music can be. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Band Of Horses Cease To Begin LP (Vinyl)
& lt;b & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;TAS Rated 4/5 Music, 4/5 Sonics in the January 2008 Issue of The Absolute Sound! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;Featured in Michael Fremer's Heavy Rotation in the January 2008 Issue of Stereophile! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Released in March of 2006, Band of Horses' debut Everything All the Time made good on the promise hinted at in their early shows and demos. The band went from early shows opening for friends Iron & amp; Wine, to playing on The Late Show with David Letterman by July, and being nominated as one of ten finalists (along with Joanna Newsom, Beirut, Tom Waits, and, the eventual winner, Cat Power) for the Shortlist Music Prize for that same year. And the record was well-received critically, with celebratory press in Spin, Entertainment Weekly, NY Times, Harp, Billboard, Pitchfork, Magnet, NME, Uncut, and a slew of others. Not a bad place to start. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; For a lot of reasons, Cease to Begin is the perfect title for this new record. Not only do the songs themselves weave this theme through the record, but stopping and starting anew is also a reflection of the past year and a half for Band of Horses. Though they worked with producer Phil Ek again, as they did on Everything All the Time, much has changed between the fairly recent then and now. There have been band members who have come and gone, including Mat Brooke, who left the band to pursue other interests and his own band. For core members Ben Bridwell, Rob Hampton and Creighton Barrett, there has been a move from Seattle, WA to Mt. Pleasant, SC, a relocation that had been planned for some time so that they could all be closer to their families. And, close friends and family have come and gone some far too early. Necessarily shot through with these experiences, the songs on Cease to Begin are strikingly beautiful, if less elliptical and more straightforward, with more sophisticated arrangements than the last record. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Producer Phil Ek wraps the music in spacious reverb and keeps Bridwell's distinctive voice front-and-center. And while not obvious, the album's brevity speaks to the sweet simplicity of the arrangements. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Bob Gendron, TAS January 2008 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;br & gt; • Coupon for free MP3s of entire album & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Marking the 20th Anniversary of Nirvana's debut album, Sub Pop re-issues the Platinum Certified Bleach. This expanded double-LP includes a never-before-released live performance & amp; special packaging! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Originally recorded over three sessions with producer Jack Endino at Seattle's Reciprocal Recording Studios in December 1988 and January 1989, Bleach was released in June of '89 and remains unequivocally/unsurprisingly Sub Pop's very favorite Nirvana full-length. The album initially sold 40,000 copies, but was brought into the international spotlight following the release and worldwide success of their 1991 sophomore effort, Nevermind. Subsequently Bleach went on to sell 1.7 million copies in the US alone, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This 20th Anniversary Edition has been re-mastered from the original tapes at Sterling Sound in a session overseen by producer Jack Endino. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This edition includes an unreleased live recording of a complete February 9th, 1990 show at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. The show features performances of & quot;Love Buzz & quot;, & quot;About a Girl & quot; and a cover of The Vaselines' song & quot;Molly's Lips & quot; and has been re-mixed from the original tapes by Endino. A 16-page LP booklet includes candid photos of the band not previously released to the public. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;br & gt; • Black Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Stoughton Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; • Remastered from original tapes & lt;br & gt; • Coupon for free download of HiQ mp3 of the entire album & lt;br & gt; • Never-before-released complete live performance from 2/9/90 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Musicians: & lt;br & gt; Kurdt (Kurt) Kobain, vocals, guitar & lt;br & gt; Chris Novoselic, bass & lt;br & gt; Chad Channing, drums & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;LP 1 & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Sophomore Album By Up And Coming Indie Group! & lt;br & gt;Sounds Like They've Arrived With & quot;Let's Be Still & quot; LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Featuring & quot;Shake & quot;, & quot;Another Story & quot; & amp; & quot;Let's Be Still & quot;! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;Gorgeous, harmony-fueled ballads. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Rolling Stone & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It wasn’t that long ago that the members of Seattle’s The Head and the Heart were busking on street corners, strumming their acoustic guitars, stomping their feet and singing in harmony as they attempted to attract the attention of passersby. After capturing that unbridled energy on & lt;b & gt;the band’s self-titled 2011 debut album & lt;/b & gt; for hometown label Sub Pop, the band went from playing open mic nights to selling out headlining shows in prestigious venues. & lt;b & gt;The album became one of Sub Pop’s best-selling debut releases in years. & lt;/b & gt; And, slowly but surely, ideas began to form for the band’s second album, imbued with the experiences of traveling the world and playing to ever-growing crowds. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The Head and the Heart’s album, Let’s Be Still, is a snapshot of a band that didn’t exist four years ago. Virginia native & lt;b & gt;Jonathan Russell & lt;/b & gt; and California transplant & lt;b & gt;Josiah Johnson & lt;/b & gt; formed the core songwriting partnership, which was rounded out by drummer & lt;b & gt;Tyler Williams & lt;/b & gt;, keyboardist & lt;b & gt;Kenny Hensley & lt;/b & gt;, vocalist/violinist & lt;b & gt;Charity Rose Thielen & lt;/b & gt; and bassist & lt;b & gt;Chris Zasche & lt;/b & gt;, who’d met Russell and Johnson while tending bar at an open mic they frequented. The nascent group dove headfirst into writing, recording and performing, and even moved into the same house. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; After the breakaway success of their debut and countless shows on the road, the band is in a distinctly different situation. & lt;b & gt; & quot;There is a confidence gained from having such an amazing fan base, & quot; & lt;/b & gt; says group member Jonathan Russell. & lt;b & gt; & quot;You start to trust yourself more. When we were busking, we were filling so much space to keep the listener from walking away.” & lt;/b & gt; Says Johnson, & lt;b & gt; & quot;We wanted to write songs that felt bigger, and didn’t need to be so frantic. I think for the most part we wanted to record an album that sounds like the way we play now. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Adds Russell, & lt;b & gt; & quot;Has there been an impact on our lives since we have become full-time musicians? Sure. On one hand, it’s everything you have ever wanted. On the other hand, you start to miss the things you’ve lost and had to give up. And that’s just life. I Love You, Honeybear was recorded intermittently from 2013 to 2014 in Echo Park, Los Angeles and produced with Jonathan Wilson, whom also recorded and produced 2012’s Fear Fun. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; There’s a case to be made that it sounds and acts a bit like solo-era John Lennon, Scott Walker, Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, and Dory Previn, while taking more than a few cues from Woody Allen, Kurt Vonnegut, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Muhammad Ali. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It has a decidedly more soulful presence than Fear Fun, due in no small part to the fact that he is truly singing his ass off all over the album. The album is really characterized by the scope and ambition of the arrangements. Nearly every tune is augmented by something special, be it orchestral strings, a mariachi band, questionable electronic drum solos, ragtime jazz combos, soul singers, or what have you. Pretty sure there’s a sitar in there somewhere. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; His ambition, aside from making an indulgent, soulful, and epic sound worthy of the subject matter, was to address the sensuality of fear, the terrifying force of love, the unutterable pleasures of true intimacy, and the destruction of emotional and intellectual prisons in his own voice. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This material demanded a new way of being made, and it took a lot of time before the process revealed itself. The massive, deranged shmaltz he heard in his head, and knew had to be the sound of this record, originated a few years ago while he was hallucinating in Joshua Tree; the same week he wrote the title track. Tillman chased that sound for the entire year and half they were recording. The means by which it was achieved bore a striking resemblance to the travails, abandon and transformation of loving someone. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;...lyrically and musically bold, and often quite beautiful...rewards the listener constantly. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; -James Christopher Monger, allmusic.com & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; • Includes MP3 Coupon & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; LP1 Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Soundgarden Ultramega OK LP & 12" Vinyl EP
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Remixed & amp; Expanded Album On Vinyl LP - Includes Previously Unreleased Early Versions On Vinyl EP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This remixed and expanded reissue of Soundgarden’s Ultramega OK is a long-planned “correction” of the legendary band’s Grammy®-nominated debut full-length. The album was originally recorded and released in 1988 on SST Records. While the band enjoyed working with the original producer, Drew Canulette, they soon realized they weren’t quite happy with the final mix. Thus, shortly after the album’s release, the band decided to remix the album for subsequent pressings. However, success intervened: the band rapidly scored a deal with A & amp;M and began work on their major-label debut, Louder Than Love, and the Ultramega OK remix project fell by the wayside as Soundgarden climbed their way to (ultra)mega-stardom. In 2016, after worldwide success, a breakup, a reunion, and many albums and tours, the band finally acquired the original multi-track tapes to Ultramega OK and carved out time to dig into the remix. They handed the tapes over to longtime friend and engineer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Skin Yard), who worked with the band to create a fresh mix of the album that, for the band, ties up this persistent loose end and remedies the sound of their debut album. While they were at it, the band dug out six early versions of tracks that wound up on Ultramega OK. The songs were recorded in 1987 on 8-track tape by Jack Endino and Chris Hanzsek at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle, and mixed by Jack Endino in 2016. These versions feature the band in raw, powerful form –sonically closer to the band’s Endino-recorded debut EP Screaming Life – and provide a fascinating window into the development of songs that eventually became staples of the band’s set. The six songs comprise what the band refers to as Ultramega EP, and they are included in this reissue. Hailed as grunge innovators, Soundgarden redefined rock music for a generation. In the ‘80s, the band - singer/guitarist Chris Cornell, guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Hiro Yamamoto, and drummer Matt Cameron - combined a punk ethos, brutal metal soundscapes, and Cornell’s ravenous roar to capture the attention of the masses. Jagged and ferocious, their music was deeply at odds with the synth-pop and hair metal which dominated the 80’s airwaves. Early indie releases, including seminal Screaming Life and Ultramega OK, quickly led to a dedicated indie following as the band toured on both sides of the Atlantic. Subsequent albums, including Badmotorfinger, Superunknown, and Down on the Upside, achieved multi-platinum sales and launched the band to international fame. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • 1 LP + 1 EP & lt;br & gt; • Remixed from the original multi-track tape by Jack Endino & lt;br & gt; • Includes Limited Time Download Card & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side One: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Father John Misty Pure Comedy 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;2018 Grammy Award Nominee! & lt;br & gt; • Best Alternative Music Album: Pure Comedy & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;2LP With 1 Of 4 Different (Random) Cover Color Schemes! & lt;br & gt; One of Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of 2017! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Note: Four different album covers will be distributed at random - we have no control over which covers we receive. & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Pure Comedy, Father John Misty’s third album, is a complex, often-sardonic, and, equally often, touching meditation on the confounding folly of modern humanity. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Father John Misty is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Josh Tillman. Tillman has released two widely acclaimed albums – Fear Fun (2012) and I Love You, Honeybear (2015) – and the recent “Real Love Baby” single as Father John Misty, and recently contributed to songs by Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Kid Cudi. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; While we could say a lot about Pure Comedy – including that it is a bold, important album in the tradition of American songwriting greats like Harry Nilsson, Randy Newman, and Leonard Cohen – we think it’s best to let its creator describe it himself. Take it away, Mr. Tillman: & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Pure Comedy is the story of a species born with a half-formed brain. The species’ only hope for survival, finding itself on a cruel, unpredictable rock surrounded by other species who seem far more adept at this whole thing (and to whom they are delicious), is the reliance on other, slightly older, half-formed brains. This reliance takes on a few different names as their story unfolds, like “love,” “culture,” “family,” etc. Over time, and as their brains prove to be remarkably good at inventing meaning where there is none, the species becomes the purveyor of increasingly bizarre and sophisticated ironies. These ironies are designed to help cope with the species’ loathsome vulnerability and to try and reconcile how disproportionate their imagination is to the monotony of their existence. & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Something like that. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Pure Comedy was recorded in 2016 at the legendary United Studios (Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Beck) in Hollywood, CA. It was produced by Father John Misty and Jonathan Wilson, with engineering by Misty’s longtime sound-person Trevor Spencer and orchestral arrangements by renowned composer/double-bassist Gavin Bryars (known for extensive solo work, and work with Brian Eno, Tom Waits, Derek Bailey). & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Josh Tillman's shtick as Father John Misty is to shock you with uncomfortable truths about modern American life while soothing you with mellow, Laurel Canyon-style rock - or so it would seem on & lt;i & gt;Pure Comedy & lt;/i & gt;. As with his first two full-lengths, Tillman produced the album with Jonathan Wilson, a purveyor of vintage L.A. psychedelia. But & lt;i & gt;Pure Comedy & lt;/i & gt; is distinctly more solemn and sedate than before, and perhaps that's the appropriate tone when one sings of humanity's insignificance or a civilization in decline... & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Pam Torno, & lt;i & gt;The Absolute Sound & lt;/i & gt;, July/August 2017 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Much has been made of the marriage of his conventionally beautiful voice and accessible instrumentation to his nihilistic and irony-soaked lyricism. This record is definitive proof that that relationship is working, lasting and getting better with age. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Mack Hayden, Paste Magazine & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;In which Josh Tillman updates the Seventies singer-songwriter tradition for our dystopian, post-ironic era, using its melodicism and 'sincerity' as both comfort food and grim punchline. 'Bedding Taylor Swift/Every night inside the Oculus Rift' was the most quoted couplet, from the culture-indicting 'Total Entertainment Forever,' a send up of virtual reality and Kanye West-style audience bait. But the most impressive writing is 'Leaving L.A.,' a 13-minute Dylan-esque anti-hero epic that locates Tilman himself in its crosshairs ('Oh, great, that's just what they all need/Another white guy in 2017/Who takes himself so goddamn seriously'). Predicting his own backlash was just another way he seemed to be one step ahead of nearly everyone this year. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Rolling Stone, 50 Best Albums of 2017 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; • 1 of 4 Different Cover Color Schemes with Custom Dust Sleeves - distributed at random & lt;br & gt; • Limited Time MP3 Coupon & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; LP 1 & lt;br & gt; Side 1: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The musicians who played on Beast Epic include longtime Iron & amp; Wine collaborators Robert Burger (keys), Joe Adamik (percussion), and Jim Becker (guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin), along with bassist Sebastian Steinberg (Soul Coughing and Fiona Apple), and Chicagoan Teddy Rankin Parker (cello). Beast Epic was mastered by Richard Dodd in Nashville, Tennessee. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The first Iron & amp; Wine song that I ever remember hearing was “Dead Man's Will,” originally featured on the Yeti 1 compilation CD. Its hushed eloquence and unadorned beauty lent it a sort of soft power*, a triumph of instinct over overstatement. That was in 2001. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;In 2017, Beast Epic, Iron & amp; Wine’s fourth album of new material for Sub Pop and it's sixth overall, recasts soft power as a series of vignettes, observations and regular old songs that redeem through joy and a certain expectation of grace. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;Even the instant classic, “Bitter Truth”, with a lyric as pained and direct as any I've heard from Iron & amp; Wine, is leavened with background vocals recalling The Jordanaires. Sam Beam has called Beast Epic his & quot;most personal & quot; album to date. It is the first Iron & amp; & lt;br & gt; Wine album that he's produced since The Creek Drank The Cradle, though the results are vastly different. This album brims with surprise flourishes, classic touches and an appealing confidence that is evident on songs like “Call It Dreaming. & quot; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;After a decade and a half of prodigious expression and exploration, recording as both Iron & amp; Wine and eponymously, Sam Beam confessed that he has finally figured out how to make records. He had me fooled all along. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;Beast Epic... The six-song EP features songs that were part of the writing phase for Beast Epic, but went unfinished. They were part of a larger narrative for principal songwriter Sam Beam, who ran out of time to get them where they needed to be for inclusion on Beast Epic. Weed Garden also includes the fan favorite “Waves of Galveston.” & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; While on tour, the final pieces of material took shape and a sense of urgency prevailed in bringing these characters full circle. To resolution. To completion. In January 2018, Beam and company hunkered down in Chicago at The Loft recording studio to capture these six songs. No more, no less. Weed Garden joins the good company of previous Iron & amp; Wine EP’s – The Sea and Rhythm, Woman King, In the Reins – and in 2018’s attention-span challenged world that's not a bad thing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Vinyl EP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Limited time full album download code & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The vinyl version is packaged in a lavish box, with a 12 & quot; LP of the debut album and separate 10 & quot; records for each of the added titles. In addition to its musical offerings, the collection features a 32-page booklet including show flyers, lyrics and artwork from band's early history. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Fleet Foxes' debut album made a tremendous impact on the international musical scene, topping numerous & quot;best of & quot; lists, including Rolling Stone's 100 Best Albums of the 2000's and Pitchfork's 50 Best Albums of 2008, and earned the band Uncut's inaugural Music Award Prize. Fleet Foxes is certified Gold in North America and Platinum in both the UK and Australia. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Fleet Foxes' most recent release was the critically acclaimed full-length, Crack-Up, released June 2017. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The band's country, folk and West Coast pop songs and storyteller lyrics—which acted like a close-harmony love letter in musical form to a pastoral American idyll that possibly never existed—arrived as if from another era, triggering nostalgic swoons in critics and end-of-year top spots. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Sunday Times (London) & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;A decade on it's fascinating to observe the evolution of their sound. That first LP sounded other-worldly at the time. It sounded like nothing else. Listening afresh, what's striking is the looseness of the playing. The songs are fragile. Everything is at the service of the voices, and the singing is magical. The sound of the Fleet Foxes blossomed over a short period. It wasn't an accident. They got there by embracing timelessness. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Uncut & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The songs are strong, hinting at future shapeshifting abilities. Full sonic prestidigitation, that wonder of voices magnified by reverb, would be next. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Mojo & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The music is invariably wonderful. Their pristine eponymous debut remains unimpeachable 10 years on. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Record Collector & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/ITO8WsiK0tM & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/w8g-33kyucs & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Limited Edition & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 1LP & amp; 3 10 & quot; Vinyl Box Set & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 2009 self-titled debut album on 12 & quot; Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 2008 Sun Giant EP on 10 & quot; Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 2006 The Fleet Foxes EP on 10 & quot; Vinyl (previously only available as a very limited edition, self-released EP) & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Eight B-sides, rarities and demos on 10 & quot; Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 32 page booklet featuring show flyers, lyrics and original artwork from the band's early years & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Fleet Foxes 12 & quot; LP & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. It followed his seemingly out of nowhere debut arrival, The Creek Drank the Cradle (2002) which was a quiet word of mouth treasure. Our Endless Numbered Days was recorded in Chicago and was the first in a string of releases to be produced by Brian Deck (Red Red Meat, Modest Mouse, Ugly Casanova, etc.). Our Endless Numbered Days, which has sold over 556,000 copies, marked many firsts for Beam both professionally and personally and as Petrusich so rightly calls it in her liner notes & lt;b & gt; & quot;Our Endless Numbered Days is a timeless record about the passage of time. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Upon its release SPIN called the record a & lt;b & gt; & quot;masterwork & quot; & lt;/b & gt; one that is & lt;b & gt; & quot;self-assured, spellbinding, and richly, refreshingly adult. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; Pitchfork, which gave the original album & quot;Best New Music, & quot; had this to say, & lt;b & gt; & quot;An astoundingly progressive record: Beam has successfully transgressed his cultural pigeonhole without sacrificing any of his dusty allure. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This reissue features the original album plus eight previously unreleased demo versions, new artwork and a 12-page booklet including liner notes from author Amanda Petrusich. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/RFQK6PdZPO4 & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 15th Anniversary Deluxe Edition & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Double LP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Includes 8 previously unreleased demo versions & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; New artwork & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 12-page booklet with essay & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Limited Time mp3 Download & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Shins Oh Inverted World (20th Anniversary Remaster) LP (Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;20th Anniversary Remaster On Vinyl LP! & lt;br & gt; Contains The Hit Track & quot;New Slang & quot;! & lt;br & gt; Includes Booklet With Vintage Photos, Handwritten Lyrics & amp; More! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;Oh, Inverted World, the earth-shattering, indie-rock-redefining 2001 debut album by The Shins, is presented here in its finest form, dressed up all nice for its 20th birthday. The classic tunes get new life by way of a full remastering job under band leader James Mercer's watchful eye, the art is given a little extra zest via a die-cut jacket and a classy inner sleeve, and the package is rounded off with a big ol' booklet with vintage photos, handwritten lyrics, and more. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The music, of course, is obviously essential. Aside from a friendly reminder that this is the album with the smash hit & quot;New Slang & quot;, as heard in the hit movie Garden State, we just need to note that the remastering job truly makes this the album James Mercer always wanted it to be. Never quite satisfied with the sonics of the original, Mercer took the 20th anniversary of the album as his opportunity to finally set the (literal!) record straight. And the results sound stellar: great for new fans, and well worth the attention of those already on board! & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;For old times' sake, here's what Sub Pop had to say about this record back when it came out: Hailing from Albuquerque, NM, The Shins sprung from the ashes of Flake/Flake Music in 1997 (though those previous incarnations date back nearly a decade) - same members, different instruments, different approach. Counterpoint guitars have given way to a single guitar pitted against calculated keyboard passages; swarming indie rock machinations led to pop-based melodic endeavors (who knew?). & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;20th Anniversary Edition & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Full Remaster under the direction of James Mercer & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Die-cut jacket & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Inner sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Expanded booklet with vintage photos, handwritten lyrics & amp; more & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Caring Is Creepy & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;One By One All Day & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Weird Divide & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Know Your Onion! & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Girl Inform Me & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;New Slang & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Celibate Life & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Girl On The Wing & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Algebra & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pressed In A Book & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Past And Pending & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

Mudhoney Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge (30th Anniversary Deluxe) 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Double LP! & lt;br & gt; Remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service! & lt;br & gt; Featuring 7 Previously Unreleased Songs! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;By going back to basics with their classic second full-length album Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, Seattle group Mudhoney flipped conventional wisdom. Not for the first time - or the last - they would be vindicated. A month after release in July 1991, the album entered the UK album chart at Number 34 (five weeks later, Nirvana's Nevermind entered at 36) and went on to sell 75,000 copies worldwide. A more meaningful measure of success, however, lay in its revitalization of the band, casting a touchstone for the future. The record is a major chapter in Mudhoney's ongoing story, the moral of which has to be: when in doubt, fudge it. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The album began at Music Source Studio, a large space equipped with a 24-track mixing board - downright futuristic, compared to the 8-track setup that birthed the band's catalytic 1988 debut, Touch Me I'm Sick. The Music Source session quickly turned into a false start when the results, in guitarist Steve Turner's words, & quot;sounded a little too fancy, too clean. & quot; Lesson learned, the band went primitive and got to work at Conrad Uno's 8-track setup at Egg Studio. Named after the cartons pasted on the walls in an optimistic attempt at sound-proofing, Egg boasted a '60s vintage 8-track Spectra Sonics recording console, originally built for Stax in Memphis. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;So it was that, in the spring of 1991, Mudhoney made Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. The resulting album is a whirlwind of the band's influences at the time: the fierce '60s garage rock of their Pacific Northwest predecessors The Sonics and The Lollipop Shoppe, the gnashing post-hardcore of Drunks With Guns, the heavy guitar moods of Neil Young, the lysergic workouts of Spacemen 3 and Hawkwind, the gloomy existentialism of Zounds, and the satirical ferocity of '80s hardcore punk. The quartet's special alchemy meant these fond homages never slid into pastiche. Ultimately, Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge epitomized the best of Mudhoney: here was a band reconnecting with its purest instincts, and in the process reinventing itself. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;This 30th anniversary edition, remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service, stands as testimony to the creative surge that drove them in this period. The album sessions yielded a clutch of material that would subsequently appear on B-sides, compilations, and split-singles. This edition includes all those tracks, and a slew of previously unreleased songs, including the entire five-track Music Source session. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/hKCe9NtSPxo & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;30th Anniversary Edition & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Double LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Original album in its entirety & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;15-track bonus LP of additional material including 7 previously unreleased songs & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Liner notes from Mudhoney biographer & amp; MOJO journalist Keith Cameron & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gatefold jacket with new cover art & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Archival band photos & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Full-color fold-out poster & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Generation Genocide & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Let It Slide & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Good Enough & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Something So Clear & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Thorn & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Into The Drink & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Broken Hands & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Who You Drivin' Now? & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Move Out & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Shoot The Moon & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Fuzzgun '91 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pokin' Around & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Don't Fade IV & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Check-Out Time & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side C: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;March To Fuzz & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Ounce Of Deception & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Paperback Life (Alt Version) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Fuzzbuster & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bushpusher Man & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Flowers For Industry & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Thorn (1st Attempt) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Overblown & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;March From Fuzz & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side D: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;You're Gone & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Something So Clear (24-Track Demo) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bushpusher Man (24-Track Demo) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pokin' Around (24-Track Demo) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Check-Out Time (24-Track Demo) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Generation Genocide (24-Track Demo) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

These ten pieces - each built around their own instantaneous, undeniable hook - are turbocharged by the vivid textures that surround them. The ineffable, familiar harmonies of Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker break through the chaos like a life raft. Layers of distorted sound accrete with each new verse - building, breaking, colossal then restrained, a solemn vow only whispered. There will be time to unravel and attribute meaning to the music and art of these times, but the creative moment looks FORWARD, with teeth. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;HEY WHAT is Low's thirteenth full-length release in 27 years, and their third with producer BJ Burton. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.stereogum.com & quot; & gt; Like all the best albums, HEY WHAT is a transformative experience. Listening to it changes you, and the silence on the other side feels fundamentally different. The world might be broken, and so might we all, but Low keep on straining towards transcendence. Remarkably, nearly 30 years into their career, they seem to have achieved it yet again. & lt;footer & gt; -Peter Helman, Stereogum, Album Of The Week: Low HEY WHAT & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.pastemagazine.com & quot; & gt; After what sounds like a mechanical bull backfiring inside a hall of mirrors, Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker light the whole cow on fire and let it explode. On 'White Horses,' the opener of Low's 13th album HEY WHAT, Sparhawk's voice and guitars are among the loudest and clearest they've been across 13 albums spanning nearly three decades, with Parker's harmonies not far behind in heft and lucidity. If the ever-mercurial married duo have long sounded listless and adrift amid myriad moments of personal and political uncertainty, HEY WHAT reimagines Low as a vehicle for powerhouse vocals, high-Richter-scale distortion and blink-and-you'll-miss-it percussion. The duo's recent fascination with 21st-century disconnection continues, but the bombast is louder and the tranquility is quieter, and in focusing on lucid melodies and unobscured fidelity, they've created their most visceral work yet. & lt;footer & gt; -Max Freeman, Paste Magazine & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/d8QiSZRX8dA & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/w9JyjipKBJk & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/DfQQvHvIPHI & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gatefold jacket & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;White Horses & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;I Can Wait & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;All Night & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Disappearing & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hey & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Days Like These & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;There's A Comma After Still & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Don't Walk Away & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;More & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Price You Pay (It Must Be Wearing Off) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

The Postal Service Give Up Deluxe Edition 3LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;10 Year Anniversary Deluxe 3LP Edition! Remastered Platinum Album! 15 Bonus Tracks with 2 Brand New Songs! Includes Booklet! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; You can spend all the time and money in the world trying to craft the perfect pop-music scenario, but sometimes the stars have to align all by themselves. Even though early on the members of The Postal Service jokingly referred to “Such Great Heights” as “the hit” on their debut album, Give Up, there’s no way anyone could have predicted the eventual impact made by a mail-order album designed in a pair of West Coast bedrooms. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It’s been 10 years since the little project that could from Seattelite Ben Gibbard (aka Death Cab For Cutie’s frontman) and Angeleno Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, & lt;br & gt; Figurine) emerged from seemingly nowhere and began to burrow into the ears of anyone who came into contact with the band’s infectious electro-pop. To celebrate, Sub Pop is reissuing The Postal Service’s sole album, and including in the multidisc set 15 bonus tracks, including two brand new songs, “A Tattered Line of String” and “Turn Around.” On top of that, the band is back together: The Postal Service will hit the road for a long-overdue victory lap, giving most fans their first (and last—seriously, don’t ask) chance to see the group in person. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Ben Gibbard's famously bittersweet vocals and sharp, sensitive lyrics imbue Give Up with more emotional heft than you might expect from a synth pop album... The album exploits the contrast between the cool, clean synths and Gibbard's all-too-human voice to poignant and playful effect... & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Heather Phares, allmusic.com & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;It's quaint to think of it now: Electronic musician Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard named their project Postal Service because they used to send demos back and forth to each other – in the good old-fashioned U.S. Mail. In a way, that suits the glitchy, retro computer pop the duo made on & lt;em & gt;Give Up... & lt;/em & gt;Songs like 'Such Great Heights' – whose inclusion on the soundtrack to & lt;em & gt;Garden State & lt;/em & gt; elevated the album's profile – and 'Nothing Better' bubbled with sweet little blips and bloops and bright patches of synth-manipulated & amp;nbsp; strings whose crispness balanced Gibbard’s delicate warble. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Rolling Stone & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;At the time, the melding of indie rock and electronic music was a bit of a revolution (alas), plus the duo's recording method—Tamborello would press on synths and make beats, Gibbard would write melodies and lyrics atop them, and they would mail versions back and forth, get it—made the band feel modern yet old-fashioned in a pre-smartphone time when people were feeling icky about the disposability of life. A decade later, the electronic elements sound completely contemporary... [Y]ou've got a really great wallowing record—it's called Give Up, you guys—that you can walk to or cry to, depending what you've got going on that day, cathartically screaming 'I am finally seeing why I was the one worth leaving!' while doing the dishes or into the pile of unfolded laundry on your bed. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Tara Thorne, The Coast & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;420 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;http://www.youtube.com/embed/0wrsZog8qXg & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt;• Deluxe 3 LP Edition & lt;br & gt; • Celebrating 10 Year Anniversary & lt;br & gt; • 4-Pocket Gatefold M-Pack & lt;br & gt; • Includes Booklet & lt;br & gt; • Limited Time MP3 Coupon & lt;br & gt; • Platinum Album & lt;br & gt; • Sub Pop's Second Best-Selling Album (after Nirvana's Bleach) & lt;br & gt; • Remastered with 15 Additional Bonus Tracks & amp; 2 New Songs including the single & quot;A Tattered Line Of String & quot; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt;The Postal Service & lt;br & gt; Jenny Lewis & lt;br & gt; Jen Wood & lt;br & gt; The Shins & lt;br & gt; Iron & amp; Wine & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; LP1 - Side One: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Iron & Wine Archive Series No. 5: Tallahassee Recordings LP (Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt; & quot;Lost & quot; Debut Album On Vinyl LP! & lt;br & gt; Part Of The Official Iron & amp; Wine Archive Series! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;On May 7th, 2021, Sub Pop will release Tallahassee; Archive Series Volume no. 5, the lost-in-time debut album from Iron & amp; Wine. A collection of songs recorded over a two-year (1998-99) window during which Iron & amp; Wine's Sam Beam attended Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. Three years later, Iron & amp; Wine would issue The Creek Drank the Cradle and begin a run of records widely praised as being part of a new blueprint in the singer-songwriter genre. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Tallahassee doesn't attempt to re-write history but instead aims to document the very first steps in Beam's journey to becoming one of America's most original and distinctive artists. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The eleven-song collection was culled from a number of recordings that had been (mostly) forgotten by Beam himself but had been preserved by former roommate and one-time Iron & amp; Wine member, EJ Holowicki. Holowicki, whom went on to work as a sound designer at Skywalker Sound, was a catalyst in making sure Beam documented these songs while the two were roommates in a house on St. Augustine St. near campus. In addition to serving as both engineer and bassist, Holowicki also worked as an archival producer in preparing the tracks for official release. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Tallahassee, with its sparse instrumental canvas and live-in one-room takes, is very much akin to early Iron & amp; Wine releases, The Creek Drank the Cradle, The Sea & amp; The Rhythm, and In the Reins. From the wandering country-esque tempo of & quot;Calm on the Valley & quot; to the more mid-tempo Harvest-era vibe of & quot;This Solemn Day, & quot; the seeds of the portrait of an artist as a young man are all present. While still in its formative stages, the lyrical imagery and intimate musical nature that has become a trademark of the Iron & amp; Wine & quot;sound & quot; is present and represented throughout Tallahassee. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Early music file-sharers have long claimed ownership of a number of early Iron & amp; Wine recordings, many that still have yet to be officially released. While this record will not quite correct all the wrongs of the early days of the Internet, it will fill in many of the blanks for long-time fans. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.allmusic.com & quot; & gt; ...[T]he things that make Iron & amp; Wine so lovely are here in nascent form. Beam's voice already has the power to rivet the listener to the speaker in awe of the warmth and feeling he transmits with seemingly no effort. His croon feels like the confession of a close friend, and on songs like 'Cold Town' and 'Why Hate Winter' (which sounds like backwoods Codeine) it's impossible to escape the raw emotion. There are also a few ghostly vocal harmonies - like on the halting ballad 'Show Him the Ground' - that point the way to Creek's incredible sound..... As far as lost, pre-fame recordings go, Archive Series No.5: Tallahassee Recordings is a genuine find. & lt;footer & gt; -Tim Sendra, AllMusic.com & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;iframe width= & quot;560 & quot; height= & quot;315 & quot; src= & quot;https://www.youtube.com/embed/EWMzTPmXDGE & quot; frameborder= & quot;0 & quot; allowfullscreen & gt; & lt;/iframe & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Part of the Official Iron & amp; Wine Archive Series & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;11 tracks recorded in 1998 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Textured LP jacket & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Why Hate Winter & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;This Solemn Day & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Loaning Me Secrets & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;John's Glass Eye & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Calm On The Valley & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol start = & quot;6 & quot; & gt; & lt;li & gt;Ex-Lover Lucy Jones & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Elizabeth & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Show Him The Ground & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Straight And Tall & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Cold Town & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Valentine & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

It is a double album, featuring 18 songs presented in 4 chapters. Across these songs, many types of style and song structures can be heard. Songs without drums, songs centered around acoustic guitar, mostly electronic songs with no guitar, wandering and repetitive melodies, songs built around the string sections. In addition to new sounds, many of the drum machines, organs, keyboards and tones that listeners may associate with previous Beach House records remain present throughout many of the compositions. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Beach House is Victoria Legrand, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist, and Alex Scally, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. They write all of their songs together. Once Twice Melody is the first album produced entirely by the band. The live drums are by James Barone (same as their 2018 album, 7), and were recorded at Pachyderm studio in Minnesota and United Studio in Los Angeles. For the first time, a live string ensemble was used. Strings were arranged by David Campbell. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The writing and recording of Once Twice Melody began in 2018 and was completed in July of 2021. Most of the songs were created during this time, though a few date back over the previous 10 years. Most of the recording was done at Apple Orchard Studio in Baltimore. Once Twice Melody was mixed largely by Alan Moulder but a few tracks were also mixed by Caesar Edmunds, Trevor Spencer, and Dave Fridmann. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Limited Gold Edition & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;2LP Box Set & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;1 Gold Vinyl & amp; 1 Clear Vinyl in separate jackets with custom dust sleeves & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;2 exclusive posters & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Full-color booklet & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gold-embossed hinged box & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Chapter 1 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Once Twice Melody & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Superstar & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pink Funeral & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Through Me & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Chapter 2 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol start= & quot;5 & quot; & gt; & lt;li & gt;Runaway & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;ESP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;New Romance & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Over And Over & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Chapter 3 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol start= & quot;9 & quot; & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sunset & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Only You Know & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Another Go Around & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Masquerade & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Illusion Of Forever & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Chapter 4 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol start = & quot;14 & quot; & gt; & lt;li & gt;Finale & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Bells & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hurts To Love & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Many Nights & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Modern Love Stories & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

It is a double album, featuring 18 songs presented in 4 chapters. Across these songs, many types of style and song structures can be heard. Songs without drums, songs centered around acoustic guitar, mostly electronic songs with no guitar, wandering and repetitive melodies, songs built around the string sections. In addition to new sounds, many of the drum machines, organs, keyboards and tones that listeners may associate with previous Beach House records remain present throughout many of the compositions. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Beach House is Victoria Legrand, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist, and Alex Scally, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. They write all of their songs together. Once Twice Melody is the first album produced entirely by the band. The live drums are by James Barone (same as their 2018 album, 7), and were recorded at Pachyderm studio in Minnesota and United Studio in Los Angeles. For the first time, a live string ensemble was used. Strings were arranged by David Campbell. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The writing and recording of Once Twice Melody began in 2018 and was completed in July of 2021. This Sup Pop release includes 'About A Girl', 'Love Buzz', 'Negative Creep' & amp; 7 more tracks! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Black Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Remastered from the Original Master Tapes! & lt;br & gt; • Includes coupon for free download of HiQ MP3s of entire album & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Kurdt (Kurt) Kobain, vocals, guitar & lt;br & gt; Chris Novoselic, bass & lt;br & gt; Chad Channing, drums & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Featured in Michael Fremer's Heavy Rotation in the September 2011 Issue of Stereophile and Rated 9/10 Music, 9/10 Sonics in his September 2011 reviews on musicangle.com! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Fleet Foxes are from Seattle and the members of the band are Robin Pecknold, Skye Skjelset, Josh Tillman, Casey Westcott, Christian Wargo, and Morgan Henderson. The first Fleet Foxes album (Fleet Foxes) was released in 2008, and though the band's intention was to record a new album in the 6-8 months following its release, the reception of the record was such that Fleet Foxes found themselves very busy, touring consistently through the end of 2009. The follow-up album is engineered and mixed by Phil Ek and co-produced by Phil and the band. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Helplessness Blues began in April 2010 at Dreamland Recording in Woodstock, NY and continued off and on through November of that same year back in Seattle at numerous studios, including Bear Creek, Reciprocal Recording and Avast. Like very nearly every worthwhile thing, making this album was not easy; it was a difficult second album to make. Drawing inspiration from folk/rock from about 1965 to 1973, and Van Morrison's Astral Weeks in particular, Helplessness Blues sees Fleet Foxes heighten and extend themselves, adding instrumentation (clarinet, the music box, pedal steel guitar, lap steel guitar, Tibetan singing bowls, vibraphone, etc., along with more traditional band instrumentation), with a focus on clear, direct lyrics, and an emphasis on group vocal harmonies. The album is called Helplessness Blues for a couple of reasons. For one, it's kind of a funny title. Secondly, one of the prevailing themes of the album is the struggle between who you are and who you want to be or hwo you want to end up, and how sometimes you are the only thing getting in the way of that. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;00008B & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Fremer Rated 9 out of 10 for Music, 9 out of 10 for Sound! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The six person group's lead vocalist and songwriter Robin Pecknold possesses a high, creamy, angelic voice that co-producer/engineer/mixer Phil Ek bathes in a luxurious reverb (though not as much as on the group's nearly underwater but equally effective debut). The melodies ebb and flow dream-like, borne on soft, billowy music beds also floating in reverb created with a wide variety of acoustic and vintage synthetic instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, fiddle, mandolin, woodwinds, violins, electric bass, hammer dulcimer, harmonium, Moog and Prophet synthesizer. & quot; & lt;/b & gt;- Michael Fremer, Music Angle, Music 9/10, Sound 9/10 & lt;a href= & quot;http://musicangle.com/album.php?id=1012 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#0000FF & quot; & gt;Click Here to read the entire review! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Stoughton gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; • Foldout poster & lt;br & gt; • Limited Time MP3 coupon & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Head And The Heart The Head And The Heart LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Debut Album! Toured with Iron & amp; Wine, The Walkmen, & amp; Dr. Dog! & lt;br & gt;Features Hit Singles & quot;Down In The Valley & quot; & amp; & quot;Lost In My Mind & quot;!! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; So many decisions in life and in the music we love can come down to a critical tug between the logic in our heads and the hot red blood beating through our hearts. Seattle’s The Head and the Heart live authentically in that crux, finding joy and beauty wedged there. Their music pulses effervescently—both explosively danceable and intuitively intelligent. With Americana roots and strong vocal harmonics that swell like a river, this band finds its anchor in solid songwriting that has even the jaded humming along by the second listen. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The songs pick at the multicolored threads of leaving home, finding home, and through that process of deconstruction, finding yourself. These are songs about crossing rivers and roads to get to the one you love, about family far away, and the desire to chase Technicolor dreams down foreign horizons. When people hear these songs, or see the band live, the first thing they have to do is tell someone else. Their shows are, simply, one hell of a lot of breathless fun. From the first months of the band's life, their reputation as a phenomenal live band has preceded them wherever they play. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The band entered Seattle's Studio Litho in early 2010 to record these songs that had been kicking and twisting in the catalytic development of their live show. Recorded by Shawn Simmons at Studio Litho and Steven Aguilar at Bearhead Studio, the band was selling burned copies in handmade denim sleeves at local shows within a few weeks. Self-released in June 2010, the debut album helped build an impressive head-of-steam for the band through the second 1/2 of the year, gaining fans at influential Seattle station KEXP, local record shops (a consistent top 10 seller for Easy Street and the #1 album of 2010 at Sonic Boom), and venues up and down the West Coast, culminating with signing to Sub Pop Records in November. For the 2011 re-release of the album, & quot;Sounds like Hallelujah & quot; has been re-recorded, live favorite & quot;Rivers and Roads & quot; has been added, and the album has been re-mastered. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The strength of Josiah, Jon and Charity's vocal harmonies on the album makes it feel like these three were born to pour their voices together, as the band's songs revel in jaunty bass lines with ebullient handclaps peppering the best moments. A palette of orchestral elements weave their way through the album, including cello, glockenspiel, and violin, all shading in the songs' development. For all the times your toes tap while enjoying this band, often the lightness will deceptively belie the depth of ache in the lyrics when you sit down to really listen. There is magic in the music, but not magic contrived by trickery or posturing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;“It seems actually that the more genuine and honest we are in the songwriting and performing, the more people relate to that transparency,” & lt;/b & gt; Charity muses. This is an album for people who unabashedly sing and drum along on the steering wheel, and also for those who appreciate a well-crafted collection of songs that build into something wholly beautiful. There is in this music a counter-cultural optimism, with roots that grow deep and melodies that lodge themselves far into that place inside you where the head meets the heart. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;“While the Seattle music community continually cultivates new talent, few young Northwest bands have experienced as steep and rapid a trajectory of success as The Head and the Heart” & lt;/b & gt; - NPR & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Debut Album & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; • Toured with Iron & amp; Wine, The Walkmen, & amp; Dr. Dog & lt;br & gt; • Hit Singles & quot;Down In The Valley & quot; & amp; & quot;Lost In My Mind & quot; & lt;br & gt; • Limited Time Full Album Download Code Included & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Rolling Stone, 50 Best Albums of 2017 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Aluminum & amp; Copper Colored Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Die-Cut, Customizable Jacket With 4 Interactive & quot;Background & quot; Sleeves & lt;br & gt; • Plastic Slipcase (Includes All 4 Color Schemes) & lt;br & gt; • Tri-Fold Poster & lt;br & gt; • Exclusive Holographic Tarot Card & lt;br & gt; • Limited Time MP3 Coupon & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; LP 1 & lt;br & gt; Side 1: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1.
