John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers A Hard Road 180g Mono LP (White Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Explosive 1967 Electric Blues Set Restored To Its Original Mono Glory! & lt;br & gt; Pressed On 180g White Vinyl From Pristine U.K. Mono Masters! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1967’s A Hard Road proved to be every bit as powerful and innovative as its predecessor, thanks in large part to Mayall’s discovery of Clapton’s equally brilliant replacement, Peter Green. A one-of-a-kind player with a highly distinctive sound, Green makes his instrumental presence felt throughout A Hard Road, while delivering compelling lead vocals on “You Don’t Love Me” and “The Same Way.” With sterling support from bassist John McVie and drummer Aynsley Dunbar, the material here features such Mayall originals as “Hit the Highway,” “Leaping Christine” and the title track, along with standout interpretations of tunes by Freddie King, Elmore James and Willie Cobbs. The legendarily haunting Green-penned instrumental “The Supernatural” previews the guitarist’s groundbreaking work with the original incarnation of Fleetwood Mac, which he and fellow Bluesbreaker John McVie would form a few months later. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Following the seismic eruption that was the initial Bluesbreakers LP, John Mayall came back strong in '67 with another explosive album. Featuring guitar visionary and future Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green, this electrifying set sizzles with superb guitar tones and standout vocals from Green. With sterling support from bassist John McVie and drummer Aynsley Dunbar, Mayall and Green created an innovative, enduring album that ranks with their best work. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; From the original U.K. Mono Masters! Leader John Phillips' visionary producing, arranging and songwriting abilities combined with the quartet's breathtaking harmonies to make music that was both effortlessly accessible and creatively adventurous. The album quickly topped the Billboard album chart, bringing folk-rock into the pop mainstream and making Phillips, his then-wife Michelle Phillips, Denny Doherty and Cass Elliot into instant multimedia celebrities. In the years since its release, & quot;If You Can Believe Your Eyes & amp; Ears & quot; has come to be regarded as one of the finest pop albums of the '60s and one of the best debut releases ever, as evidenced by its ranking at number 127 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The album was the product of Lou Adler's visionary production, Phillips' savvy studio mastery and the foursome's extended period of musical woodshedding in the Virgin Islands. The months of meticulous rehearsals paid off in the group's ability to emerge as a full-formed musical unit right out of the box, delivering such instant classics as & quot;California Dreamin' & quot;, & quot;Monday, Monday & quot; and & quot;Go Where You Wanna Go & quot; to the willing ears of record buyers and radio listeners. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;At the time of If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears' initial release, the presence of a toilet in the periphery of the album's cover photo caused faint-hearted moral guardians to pressure the group's record company to excise the offending fixture from subsequent pressings of the album. Sundazed's new vinyl edition restores the rare, long-missing 'toilet' cover, and features the album's superior original mono mix. It's also mastered from the original analog tapes, and pressed on high-definition vinyl - the better to maintain the same joyous sense of discovery that listeners felt when first hearing this timeless gem in 1966. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.musicangle.com & quot; & gt; ... five great originals beats the odds at a time when singles ruled and albums were cobbled together with a great deal of filler. This one took two months to complete and aside from the great tunes, there's that utterly unmistakable, original sound that few groups ever manage. & lt;footer & gt; -Michael Fremer, www.musicangle.com, Music 8/10, Sound 8/10 & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.rollingstone.com & quot; & gt; 'California Dreamin', this album's first hit and a warm breeze of melody that was the road song for hippie migrants to the West Coast in the late 1960s, was started by Papa John Phillips on a dreary New York day in 1963 - at the height of the Greenwich Village folk revival. Eyes and Ears is more of the sweet same: sunshine pop with a rustic heart, the Beach Boys for folkies. Breathtaking harmonies and Phillips' studio wizardry transformed the group's covers of 'Spanish Harlem' and the Beatles' 'I Call Your Name.' Another reason to feast your ears: the luscious sadness of 'Monday, Monday.' & lt;footer & gt; -Rolling Stone & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gold Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Mastered from original analog tapes & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;High-definition Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Stunning Original Mono Mix & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Uncensored artwork & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side One: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Monday, Monday & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Straight Shooter & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Got A Feelin' & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;I Call Your Name & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Do You Wanna Dance & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Go Where You Wanna Go & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side Two: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;California Dreamin' & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Spanish Harlem & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Somebody Groovy & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hey Girl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;You Baby & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;In Crowd & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

Incredible String Band Hangman's Beautiful Daughter 150g LP (Vinyl)
If any musical combo ever meshed perfectly with the times it was the Incredible String Band. And here’s the proof: 1968’s The Hangman’s Beautiful Daughter on deep-grooved, 150-gram vinyl. The wildly eclectic Scottish folk outfit -- with the airy vocals and fretboard prowess of Robin Williamson and Mike Heron as its two constants -- began life resurrecting wondrous and ancient Celtic ballads, then was transformed by the perfumed winds of 1967’s psychedelic revolution to add sitar, oud, gimbri and all manner of exotic axes to its arsenal. The result is a gently mesmerizing psychedelia and anti-folk stance -- consummate counterpoint to current psych heroes like Mogwai and Beachwood Sparks -- that makes perfectly clear why the Incredible String Band remains just that: Incredible! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The boys remain proud of this album because it was done the way the critics said it could not be done. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The strongest tracks are the Nesmith country-rocker You Told Me (featuring Peter's show-stealing banjo mixed with bass, drums, and guitar), I'll Spend My Life With You, the somewhat audacious Forget That Girl, Shades of Grey, the rock masterpiece For Pete's Sake, the brilliant retro-50s rocker No Time (a studio jam written by Micky and Mike and then credited to engineer Hank Cicalo as a gift for his hard work, whose royalties helped him purchase a house), and Micky's delightfully overblown Randy Scouge Git - aka Alternate Title. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Also entertaining is the humorous & quot;outtake & quot; Zilch - one has to laugh with the boys as they chant bizarre catchphrases heard in their travels and finally break down at the end. Less effective is the & quot;outtake & quot; Band Six, a botched attempt to play the & quot;Merrily We Move Along & quot; Warner Brothers cartoon theme. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Sundazed introduces vinyl LP's of the first five Monkees albums! The Monkees The Monkees 150g LP (Vinyl)
The 1960's: The Monkees debut album hits stores on October 10th, 1966 so by the time this hit record landed into music stores, there was already a buzz over them. Their shows had already had huge ratings, they had a hit single, and were climbing aboard their first hit concert tour. So it's no wonder this album sold millions! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Most of the music featured on the first Monkees album had little to do with the four boys. The best studio musicians and song writers were behind this LP. This would later upset the four boys but regardless of the fact that it has been documented to death that they did not play their own instruments (which they did) this proves to be one of their best albums. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Micky Dolenz makes a huge debut as a vocalist here with several awesome songs. He first sings lead on the unforgettable & quot;Theme From The Monkees. & quot; He also sings the #1 hit & quot;Last Train To Clarksville. & quot;. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; There are no bad songs really and if you are fan of the show you will love this! It rather is a disappointment that Peter was not really part of this album. Although he is featured on the cover he did little in the recording sessions. The other bad thing is that the Monkees do not play their instruments on this album but none the less this is probably the third or fourth best Monkees album. Definetly worth getting! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. (Theme From) The Monkees & lt;br & gt; 2. Saturday's Child & lt;br & gt; 3. I Wanna Be Free & lt;br & gt; 4. Tomorrow's Gonna Be Another Day & lt;br & gt; 5. Papa Gene's Blues & lt;br & gt; 6. Take A Giant Step & lt;br & gt; 7. I Can't Get Her Off My Mind (prev. unissued early version) & lt;br & gt; 8. Last Train To Clarksville & lt;br & gt; 9. This Just Doesn't Seem To Be My Day & lt;br & gt; 10. Let's Dance On & lt;br & gt; 11. I'll Be True To You & lt;br & gt; 12. Sweet Young Thing & lt;br & gt; 13. Gonna Buy Me A Dog & lt;br & gt; 14. I Don't Think You Know Me (prev. unissued alt. version)

The Monkees More Of The Monkees 150g LP (Vinyl)
This album features some of the best of the Monkees earlier work and has spawned some of the most memorable work of the Monkees' careers individually and collectively. & quot;I'm A Believer & quot;, which is without argue the group's biggest hit is featured on this album as well as & quot;(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone & quot;, another well noted Monkees song. Some of the other fine moments on this album include & quot;Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow) & quot;, & quot;She & quot;, & quot;Your Auntie Grizelda & quot;, as well as & quot;Mary Mary & quot; which would later become a big hit for 80's rap group Run-DMC. The album, however isn't without it's flaws. The sappy non-melodic & quot;The Day We Fall in Love & quot; could have easily been excluded from the album for example, wheras other tracks such as Davy Jones' & quot;When Love Comes Knockin' (At Your Door) or Mike Nethsmith's & quot;The Kinda Girl I Could Love & quot; probably would have been better showcased on solo efforts, as neither cut featured any other Monkee. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Sundazed introduces vinyl LP's of the first five Monkees albums! The Monkees More Of The Monkees 150g LP (Vinyl)
The Monkees Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. 150g LP (Vinyl)
The beauty of this album is that all four Monkees contribute different styles and yet it all comes together in a cohesive whole. For creating imagery and evoking nostalgia, it's hard to beat & quot;Pleasant Valley Sunday & quot;. The lyrics say it all so simply and so clearly. One listen, and you are back to suburbia, sunshine and backyard barbecues. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;Love Is Only Sleeping & quot;, & quot;The Door Into Summer & quot; and & quot;What Am I Doing Hangin' Round & quot; are among the best Monkee songs featuring Mike's singing. But he may have saved his best for last with his soft and touching vocal on & quot;Don't Call On Me & quot;. On these songs, the Monkee's songwriting team really came up with some especially meaningful lyrics. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; As Mike's presence increased, Micky's decreased, and he sings lead on just three songs. But all of them are winners. The near perfect & quot;Pleasant Valley & quot; has already been mentioned. & quot;Words & quot; is a dark and haunting little tune, featuring Peter's background vocals. Micky's rendition of Nesmith's & quot;Daily Nightly & quot;, is just pure crazy psychedelia. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Of course Davy has his tunes too. He's probably at his best when he is able to combine dancing with his singing, as was the case when songs were performed on the program. & quot;Cuddly Toy & quot; and & quot;Star Collector & quot; are examples of this. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;br & gt; • 150g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Salesman, She Hangs Out, The Door Into Summer, Love Is Only Sleeping, Cuddly Toy, Words, The Door Into Summer (prev. unissued alternate mix), Love Is Only Sleeping (prev. unissued alternate mix), Hard To Believe, What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round?, Peter Percival Patterson's Pet Pig Porky, Pleasant Valley Sunday, Daily Nightly, Don't Call On Me, Star Collector, Daily Nightly (prev. unissued alternate mix), Goin' Down (prev. unissued alternate mix)
