John Mayall Blues Breakers With Eric Clapton 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time - Rated 195/500! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;180 Gram Virgin Vinyl! Includes 4 Rare Live Bonus Tracks! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This 1966 landmark album launched the blues-rock revolution of the mid-'60s. The Bluesbreakers were formed in January 1963 and became an ever-evolving lineup of more than 100 different combinations of musicians performing under that name. Eric Clapton joined in 1965 just a few months after the release of their first album. Clapton brought the blues influences to the forefront of the group. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;The blues breakers became one of London's hottest acts as soon as ex-Yardbird Clapton arrived, but that wasn't what he'd bargained for. & quot;He just wanted to play his guitar, & quot; Mayall remembered. Except Clapton's solos with the Blues Breakers inspired his cult; this is when CLAPTON IS GOD graffiti first started to appear in London, and this record shows why. Along with the band's expert renderings of Freddie King's & quot;Hideaway & quot; and Robert Johnson's & quot;Ramblin' on My Mind, & quot; the LP contains a nutty take on Ray Charles' & quot;What'd I Say, & quot; whose long drum solo gave Clapton a preview of what he'd soon experience in Cream. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - www.rollingstone.com & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;br & gt; • 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • 4 Bonus Tracks - Live - Spring 1966 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Marvin Gaye What's Going On 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;180g Vinyl LP! 2 Bonus Tracks Included! & lt;br & gt; Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time - Rated 6/500! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Originally released in 1971, What’s Going On is widely considered to be Marvin Gaye’s master work. A social commentary on American life that remains poignant 30 + years later, Berry Gordy was initially dead set against its release, calling the single “uncommercial”. Thankfully the Motown execs eventually relented and the song soon became a huge hit, going down in history as one of the greatest R & amp;B songs of all time. Contains 3 bonus tracks. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;In 1969 or 1970, I began to re-evaluate my whole concept of what I wanted my music to say, & quot; Gaye once said about the creation of What's Going On. & quot;I was very much affected by letters my brother was sending me from Vietnam, as well as the social situation here at home. I realized that I had to put my own fantasies behind me if I wanted to write songs that would reach the souls of people. I wanted them to take a look at what was happening in the world. & quot; The last thing Motown wanted its fans to think about, however, was & quot;what was happening in the world. & quot; So with Gaye determined to shatter the label's hugely successful pop formula and address issues such as the Vietnam War, civil rights and the environment, Motown founder Berry Gordy was not pleased, to say the least. He claimed that & quot;What's Going On & quot; was the worst song he had ever heard. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - www.rollingstone.com & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Cover & lt;br & gt; • Two Bonus Tracks & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Joy Division Love Will Tear Us Apart LP (Clear Vinyl)

Special Edition Featuring 3 Versions of & quot;Love Will Tear Us Apart & quot; & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; Love Will Tear Us Apart should have been the band's most shining moment, instead it became their tragic swan song. Released just a month after frontman Ian Curtis' heart wrenching suicide, the song came to be seen as the unheeded warning of the impending tragedy. This special edition features all three versions of the song that transformed Joy Division from mere band into legend. In addition to the original single version, we have two versions remixed by American producers Don Gehman of John Mellencamp fame (the 'radio version') and Arthur Baker (who also produced a hit single for Africa Bambaataa around this same time). The remaining tracks include & quot;These Days & quot; (which appeared on the original & quot;Love Will Tear Us Apart & quot; single), along with & quot;Transmission & quot; (their debut single released in 1979) and & quot;Atmosphere & quot; (originally released as a France-only single) in 1980. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Semi-Transparent Sleeve & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. In February 1970 the band rocked Boston's legendary Boston Tea Party playing three amazing concerts there for three consecutive nights in a row. These recordings - eventually trickled out onto a few albums during the 1980s (Jumping At Shadows, Roots-The Original Fleetwood Mac Live In Concert, etc.) but with consistently poor sound quality - were finally remixed at SRT studios in 1998. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;4LP & quot;book style & quot; collector's edition. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Book-style Collector's Edition & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;4LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;140g Virgin Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Original mixes by Vic Maile, Andy Rose & amp; Nick Reynolds & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Remixed by Nick Watson at SRT Studios, St. Ives, England, June 1998, assisted by Neil Slaven & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;2020 Repress & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;musicians & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Musicians & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;table & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Peter Green & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar, vocals & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Jeremy Spencer & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar, vocals, piano & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Danny Kirwan & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar, vocals & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;John McVie & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;bass & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Mick Fleetwood, percussion & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;drums & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Joe Walsh & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar (on & quot;Encore Jam & quot; only) & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;/table & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;LP 1 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Black Magic Woman & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Jumping At Shadows & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Like It This Way & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Only You & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Madison Blues & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Rattlesnake Shake & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;LP 2 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt; I Can't Hold Out & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Got To Move & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Green Manalishi & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;World In Harmony & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Oh Well & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Stranger Blues & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Red Hot Mama & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Teenage Darling & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Keep A-Knocking & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;LP 3 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Rattlesnake Shake & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Loving Kind & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Jenny Jenny & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Encore Jam & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;LP 4 & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sandy Mary & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;If You Let Me Love You & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Coming Your Way & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Sun Is Shining & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Oh Baby & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Tiger & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Great Balls Of Fire & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Tutti Frutti & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;On We Jam & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

After its release, the group embarked on their first U.S. tour with highlights including the famous Agora Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio & amp; CBGB's in NYC. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The Agora Ballroom show on July 19, 1976, is one of the band's earliest performances, and also one of its most talked about in fan message boards. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Often dismissed during their existence as a crass marketing gimmick, the Runaways have grown in stature over the years as the first all-female band to make a substantial impression on the public by playing loud, straight-up, guitar-driven rock & amp; roll. Since all of the members were teenagers (some of whom were still learning to play their instruments when they passed their auditions), the band's music was frequently raw and amateurish, but it neatly combined American heavy metal with the newly emerging sound of punk rock. In the media, the Runaways were victims of their own hype, supplied by maverick promoter/manager Kim Fowley. Fowley's insistence on a sleazy jailbait image for the group made it easy for the press to dismiss them as nothing but a tasteless adolescent fantasy -- an impression bolstered at the time by the admittedly erratic quality of their music. But in the end, the Runaways' sound and attitude proved crucially important in paving the way for female artists to crank up the volume on their guitars and rock as hard as the boys; plus, they produced one undeniably classic single in the rebel-girl manifesto 'Cherry Bomb.' & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Steve Huey, AllMusic & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Import & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side One: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1.
