The toggle switch allows three different reverb modes, Dark (Lower Octave), Rise (Ambient Swell) and Dream (Latching Pad), while secondary functions on the switch change between different wave shapes for the modulation on the reverb trail.
Combine rich modulation with the depth knob along with long washy trails and experience, the Slö.
AlgorithmsDARK – Add a lower octave to reverb trail. Here 'll create deep and wide atmospheric sounds and channel nightmarish soundscapes. X knob sets the level of a -1 octave signal that feeds the reverb.RISE – This is an auto-swell reverb for beautiful cinematic swells. Don't rush it. Let it breathe and gently wake up. X knob sets the amount of time it takes the reverb to swell in after a note is played. Set lower for shorter rise times and higher for longer rise times.DREAM – Here is a lush reverb with a latching pad function. Press the sustain switch to latch signal. Experiment with the X knob to add vibrato over the pad. Press sustain again and pad will decrescendo according to where decay knob is set. X knob sets the depth of vibrato applied to the reverb trail.
The Slö also features 3 different wave shapes accessible by holding down bypass while switching the algorithm toggle.
SINE – Smooth and even pitch up and down modulation.WARP – Asymmetric pitch up modulation similar to a warped record.SINK – Asymmetric pitch down modulation for sinking detune similar to a Bigsby.
Momentary Functions
Bypass: When the switch is in off position, press and hold to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of reverb texture. Releasing the switch turns the effect off, and fades it out.
Sustain: When pressed, the decay switch ramps up the reverb trail to maximum creating long dreamy reverb trail and then ramps back down to the decay knob setting when released. In the “Dream” algorithm, the sustain switch is latching. Press it once to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for extremely long pad-like sounds. Press it again to let the reverb trail taper off, based on the position of the decay knob.
Trails Mode
To turn trails mode on or off, unplug the pedal and press and hold down the Bypass Switch for two seconds while plugging the pedal back in.

Featuring four main algorithms, digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back, the ARP-87 can cover some serious ground in the world of echoes. The digital algorithm boasts pristine, crystal clear repeats great for rhythmic riffs. The Analog setting works well to add warmth and dimension to chords and lines without getting in the way. The Lo-Fi algorithm, with its adjustable frequency range on the repeats, goes from warm, warped and murky, to straight AM radio. Finally, the Slap setting makes it easy to dial in a great slap back echo perfect for smoking chicken pickin’ runs. With other features like our smart bypass switching, and momentary knob ramp, the ARP-87 provides endless creative opportunities that are waiting to be explored. The X knob changes functions depending on which Algorithm you are using. It adjusts a specific parameter in each algorithm. In Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, the knob will control modulation depth. In Lo-fi mode, the knob will control Filter width. Note that when changing delay types this loads a whole new algorithm and the tempo must be tapped in again. Trails ModeThe ARP-87 can be run in trails or no trails mode. In trails mode, when you turn the pedal off, the delay trails die off naturally. In no trails mode, the delay trails are abruptly cut off when you turn the pedal off. To toggle between either mode, hold down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal. Unplug power and repeat to toggle to the other mode. SNL Guitarist and fuzz fanatic, Jared Scharff, approached Walrus about doing a modern filtered fuzz inspired by his favorite vintage fuzz pedal, the Kay Fuzz Tone. Working together through hours of texts, calls, emails and mailing prototypes back and forth, the Kangra came to life with plenty of grit, teeth and vintage vibe, as well as pronounced modern features.
Fuzz
Get two different styles of fuzz with the M/V Switch. In the modern position (M), notice a more forgiving fuzz with longer and tighter sustain, while the Vintage position (V) feels starved with spatty breakup and grittier, shorter sustain.
Filter
The Kangra also has a versatile filter with Resonance, Sensitivity, Frequency and Envelope Filter controls. Use the filter on its own to add a unique shape to sound, or flip the Envelope Filter switch and open up funky sixties style tones.

The art was inspired by a once in a life time expedition Jared took to the Kangra Valley near the Himalaya Mountains. It was there his journey inspired new ideas that can only approximated by the Kangra Filter Fuzz. The pedal comes in a peach enclosure with art by Adam Forster in white and blue inks.

While most chorus/vibrato pedals offer a toggle to go between the two effects, we’ve provided a knob to blend between Dry, Chorus, into Vibrato (labeled d-c-v on the pedal). The Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend changes the ratio of dry to wet signal sent to the output. At minimum, will hear no effect. Set it to noon for equal parts dry and wet – the traditional chorus setting. Set it to maximum for 100% wet – the traditional vibrato setting. Explore the ground between minimum and noon for adding slight amounts of movement to dry signal (also making the Julia great on bass guitar). Explore the ground between noon and maximum for all sorts of unheard chorus/vibrato combinations.

For decades now, guitarists in search of pure tone have been taking the tube-powered audio sections of vintage film projectors and using it as a guitar amp. Heads up – it sounds amazing. After endless hours of research on vintage Bell and Howell 385 Filmosound projector, Walrus has created a fantastic new overdrive modeled after the projector’s tone. The Bell and Howell 385 gracefully lends itself to create an amazing guitar amp. Its simple, but effective controls, plus dual 6V6 output section make for a simple and extremely responsive amp that has an amazing compressed overdrive when cranked. THIS was the sound and feel Walrus needed to shoot for in an amp-like pedal. The 385 was developed to have the same simple but effective tone control as it’s grandfather. The amp has this as well but bass and treble are stacked behind the single tone knob. With their design breaking them up, Walrus allows for a much wider array of tones to be achieved. The user is able to boost and cut bass and treble, allowing them to be creative with mid-frequency scoops and bumps. The pedal is internally running at 18v, which helps nail the same dynamic feel of the amp in a stomp box. This means it is extremely sensitive to how hard you dig in – just like the amp.
