Aphex Twin Richard D. James Album 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Heavyweight 180g Vinyl LP! & lt;br & gt; Official Warp Repress! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Richard D. James' fourth, autobiographical' album as Aphex Twin is regarded as his 'drill n' bass' showpiece. Originally released in 1996, 'Richard D. James' continues the lineage of his digital era (beginning from the previous Aphex Twin album, '...I Care Because You Do'), where familiar, playful melody locks into aggressive, hyperspeed breakbeats and quasi-jungle rhythms. This album also yielded the single 'Girl / Boy Song' which, memorably, uses a self-parodying, macabre image of a grave, scribed 'Richard James - November 1968' as a sleeve image. Characteristically, 'Richard D. James' employs audio generated electronically, whilst furthering his ideas of more 'concrete' techniques such as sampling, distorting, looping and the use of human voice, physical instruments and environmental sound. As compelling a listen today as it ever was. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavyweight 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Official Warp repress & lt;br & gt; • Paper inner sleeve & lt;br & gt; • Top-loader LP outer sleeve & lt;br & gt; • Limited time download code & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side 1: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. 4 & lt;br & gt; 2. Brian Eno The Ship 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Eno's First Solo Album Since 2012's LUX On Double LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The Double LP & quot;The Ship & quot; is Eno’s first solo record since 2012’s Grammy-nominated LUX. Originally conceived from experiments with three dimensional recording techniques and formed in two, interconnected parts, The Ship is almost as much musical novel as traditional album. Eno brings together beautiful songs, minimalist ambience, physical electronics, omniscient narratives and technical innovation into a single, cinematic suite. The result is the very best of Eno, a record without parallel in his catalogue. The album opens with the 21-minute eponymously titled “The Ship” on which Eno’s cyclically sung sea-chant builds in ominous drama, followed by “Fickle Sun”, a song in three movements. The first continues where “The Ship” left but with Eno’s voice sounding more upfront, determined, even despairing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The album’s finale is a Lou Reed penned cover of The Velvet Underground’s “I’m Set Free”, a band who were famously credited by Eno as the inspiration behind his early music explorations as an art student. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Humankind seems to teeter between hubris and paranoia: the hubris of our ever-growing power contrasts with the paranoia that we're permanently and increasingly under threat. At the zenith we realize we have to come down again...we know that we have more than we deserve or can defend, so we become nervous. Somebody, something is going to take it all from us: that is the dread of the wealthy. Paranoia leads to defensiveness, and we all end up in the trenches facing each other across the mud. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Brian Eno & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Inspired by music from film scores, the album was largely improvised. A critical success, it was praised for its exploration of themes and musical styles Eno had trailblazed, as well as its forward-thinking sound and experimentalism. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Double LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in the EU & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Emerald And Lime & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Complex Heaven & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Small Craft On A Milk Sea & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Flint March & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Horse & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;2 Forms Of Anger & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bone Jump & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Dust Shuffle & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Paleosonic & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Slow Ice, Old Moon & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Lesser Heaven & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Calcium Needles & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Emerald And Stone & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Written, Forgotten & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Late Anthropocene & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;3LP With Deep Cuts Remastered From Original Tapes! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;The fourth in the Switched On series that compiles non-album tracks and sought after deep cuts by the group. Simply put, they are breathtakingly original. Electrically Possessed is a must-have on vinyl. & lt;footer & gt; -Drew Wardle, Far Out Magazine & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.pitchfork.com & quot; & gt; The highlight of this compilation is the band's 2000 EP The First of the Microbe Hunters. Recording during a particularly fruitful creative stretch that yielded two brilliant full-lengths (1999's Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night and 2001's Sound-Dust), it's a bubbly, groove-heavy rush. & lt;footer & gt; -Pitchfork, Rated 7.9 & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;3LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Rare & amp; Hard-To-Find Tracks & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Remastered From Original Tapes & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gatefold Sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Limited-Time Download Card & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Polythene Wallet & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 1: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Outer Bongolia & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Intervals & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 2: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Barock-Plastic & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Nomus Et Phusis & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;I Feel The Air [Of Another Planet] & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 3: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Household Names & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Retrograde Mirror Form & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Solar Throw-Away [Original Version] & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pandora's Box Of Worms & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;L'exotisme Int & amp;#233;rieur & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 4: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Super-It & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Jump Drive Shut-Out & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Explosante Fixe & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Fried Monkey Eggs [Instrumental] & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Monkey Jelly & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;B.U.A & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 5: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Free Witch & amp; No Bra Queen & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Denim Loop Pt. 2 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Variation One & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Monkey Jelly [Beats] & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Dimension M2 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 6: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Solar Throw Away & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Calimero & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Fried Monkey Eggs [Vocal] & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Speck Voice & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

Flying Lotus Yasuke LP (Red Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Score To Netflix Anime Series Pressed On Red Vinyl LP! & lt;br & gt; Featuring Thundercat, Denzel Curry & amp; Niki Randa! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;Flying Lotus follows the release of his sweeping epic Flamagra and his Producer of the Year Grammy nomination for Thundercat's It Is What It Is, with an expansive original soundtrack for Netflix's new anime series, Yasuke. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Flying Lotus is the executive producer & amp; composer of Yasuke, which retells the story of feudal Japan's first African samurai who served with Oda Nobunaga. The series is directed by LeSean Thomas, stars Lakeith Stanfield and features Takeshi Koike as its lead designer. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Flying Lotus' score for Yasuke is an unforgettable titan in his musical canon, drawing enhanced influence from prior instrumental and vocal works alike, while looking towards the future uncompromisingly. The music lies heavily steeped within the legacy of jazz and electronic instrumentation, with select feature appearances by longtime friends and collaborators: Thundercat, Denzel Curry and Niki Randa. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;blockquote cite= & quot;www.allmusic.com & quot; & gt; Yasuke is Ellison's most atmospheric full-length and strides from track to track with as much grace as Until the Quiet Comes. Sounds from traditional Japanese and West African instruments are heard throughout, either separate from or woven with Ellison's familiar spasmodic and swishing percussion. Synthesizer shading often taps into the noirish romanticism in Vangelis' Blade Runner score. Other keyboards conjure feelings ranging from vengefulness to dread to wistfulness, drawing from prog rock and classical synthesizer epics, as well as science fiction soundtracks across all visual mediums....Yasuke should be considered the seventh proper Flying Lotus album, not a diversion. It's one of Ellison's most riveting works. & lt;footer & gt; -Andy Kellman, AllMusic.com, 4/5 stars (The AllMusic 2021 Year In Review - Favorite Electronic Albums) & lt;/footer & gt; & lt;/blockquote & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Red Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Obi strip & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Limited time download card & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in the EU & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;War At The Door & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Black Gold (with Thundercat) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Lord & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Shoreline Sus & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hiding In The Shadows (with Niki Randa) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Crust & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Fighting Without Honor & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pain And Blood & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;War Lords & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sachi & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Screams & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Using What You Got & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;African Samurai (with Denzel Curry) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Where's The Girl? & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Kurosaka Strikes! & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;This Cursed Life & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Robomb & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Taiko Time / Sacrifice & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Day Off & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Armour & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Enchanted & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Mind Flight & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Survivors & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Your Head / We Won & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Eyes Of Vengeance & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Between Memories (with Niki Randa) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;
