What is Emark Cable?
1. A USB Type-C active cable encapsulated with an E-Marker chip.
2. DFP and UFP can read the properties of the cable using the PD protocol: power transmission capability, data transmission capability, ID and other information.
3. All full-featured USB Type-C cables should be packaged with E-Marker, but USB2.0 Type-C cables can be packaged without E-Marker.
What is USB3.1 Gen2?
1. There are two types of USB 3.1: There's a Gen1 and a Gen2, and they offer different data transfer speeds.
2. Both USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen1 can transfer data at speeds up to 5.0 Gbps (8b/10b encoding).
