Take advantage of our engineering with the 1.4 x optic glass that is used to make up the focal flange distance difference between the lens and camera (distance between the lens flange and film/sensor plane). This corrective lens in our adapter allows an older lens to properly focus to infinity on the newer camera body*.

Note:
*In some cases the built-in optic may degrade the image quality because you are adding an element never designed for that particular lens; as a result, this can cause soft focus, chromatic aberration, image artifacts, etc. Use the lenses “sweet spot” to minimize these issues (Sweet
Spot: Aperture value on lens that provides the sharpest image).
This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc. ) will be disrupted.
Set your exposure manually or meter using your camera's Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode.
If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default.
