magBac Laptop Docking station is compatible with specific Thunderbolt 3, Type C Gen2 or full-featuredUSB-C Windows systems
The USB C port on the Laptop looks the same by the appearance design, but it has several critical differences between Thunderbolt 3, USB-C 3.1 Gen 2, and USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 protocol. The difference between the three technologies is bandwidth.

INCOMPATIBLE with the laptop without USB-C ports like: Most Acer series, Apple USB SuperDrive, Surface Laptop 3, all legacy USB A only systems and Nintendo Switch.
3: Display issue: Equipped with 3 display output ports(2* HDMI and VGA), allows you to driver dual external displays.
Note: Please make sure your laptop's USB-C port supports the display(video) output feature, and the Extend mode is NOT workable for macOS( Mac OS only supports Mirror mode display).
Important Notes:
1. For Apple computers (MAC OS), displays are Mirror mode only.
2. Please plug in the Laptop's USB C PD power adapter to the USB-C Power Delivery port before connecting an external hard drive or multiple display purpose.
3. Each monitor will be limited to a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080@60Hz when connecting a dual or triple monitor.
4. Power will be a community between all dock-connected USB C devices. For a fast charge purpose, please choose extra Adapter which is over 65W to charge.
5.EDID(Extended Display Identification Data) may blackout for a few seconds(20 seconds at max, depends on Laptop and monitor) when data transfer; Please be patient for the data checking.
