Supermicro's SYS-6015X-TB 1U barebones server is a big bang in a small package. The front panel has 3 hot swap drive bays, a slim DVD-ROM drive and a bay for a slim floppy drive. On the back there are three regular height and one low profile expansion slot. A 700W power supply is included.
The Super X7DBX-i motherboard supports two dual or quad core Xeon processors. Eight 240 pin DIMM sockets can handle up to 32GB of 667 / 533MHz DDR2 ECC FB-DIMM memory. The on-board SATA 3Gb/s controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10.
ATi's ES1000 video controller with 16MB of memory provides graphics support. Dual gigabit ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an RS-232 port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports round out the ports on this system.
