The Call Center Headset Training adapter model OVT-12 is designed for use with headsets and compatible telephones. It connects two headsets to a telephone at the same time. Each of the connected headsets can listen and talk. The trainer may mute anyone of the connected headsets anytime. This training adapter is compatible with all the headset models which have RJ9 connector. Before use the training adapter, connect the headset directly to the phone; make sure the headset is compatible with your phone. If the headset cant work with the phone directly, the training adapter doesnt work.

For example, you cant use a Cisco phone headset and the training adapter with an Avaya phone. The OVT-12 training adapter is also compatible with other headsets with RJ9 connector if the headset can work directly connected to the phone. The OVT-12 comes with a RJ9 to 2.5 mm cord. With this cord, you may use Polycom headsets with telephones have 2.5 mm headset jack, like Cisco SPA 504G, SPA303 phone, Polycom SoundPoint IP 321. *** In order to have the training adapter work with phones with 2.5 mm headset jack, the headset alone must be compatible with Polycom phones with RJ9 headset jack.
