When using the head in video mode, the ball is locked in place so it will only tilt on a front-to-back axis and pan 360°. The head stands 3.7" high, weighs 14.8 oz, and has a load capacity of 11 lb. A large knob locks and unlocks the ball, while a smaller knob controls the 360° panning.
