Choosing the Right Camera for Your Room
At HuddleCamHD they know that every space is different. That's why they offer cameras with various fields of view and optical zoom options from 3X to 30X. For small rooms they suggest the 3X for it's wide field of view and affordable price point. For medium rooms that are short and wide you should consider a 3X Wide with USB 3.0. USB 3.0 will provide a noticeably higher quality picture when compared to USB 2.0. For longer narrow rooms they suggest the 10X-720 or 10X 1080p USB conference cameras. When you are working with larger boardroom style rooms the 20X or 30X will be your best bet. Finally, when you are looking for a wireless USB conference camera the HuddleCam Air will solve your need for flexibly wire free solutions.

USB 2.0 vs USB 3.0
USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. That being said USB 2.0 is much less expensive to run cabling for and does not require a quad-core processor for optimal performance. USB 3.0 can provide uncompressed 1080p video signals. To use a USB 3.0 HuddleCamHD you must have a quad-core processor. USB 2.0 conference cameras can provide a 1920x1080p video signal but it must be compressed. USB 3.0 can provide the highest quality video images completely uncompressed.

Installation
Any HuddleCamHD camera can be wall or ceiling mounted. They suggest using one of the HuddleCamHD certified camera wall mounts when wall mounting the camera. If you are ceiling mounting the camera they suggest a HuddleCamHD Ceiling Mount. Once the camera is securely mounted to the ceiling you can invert the image through the IR Remote Control or their camera configuration software connected to a computer with RS-232/DB9 to USB connection. The HuddleCamHD control software allows for advanced camera control and new patented control system called the "PresetVisualizer".

IR Remote Control
Every HuddleCamHD camera includes an IR remote control which can be used for camera PTZ and configuration. You will notice each IR remote control can operate up to 3 cameras. There is a switch on the back of each camera you can use to set the IR receiver in situations for controlling multiple cameras via the IR remote. There is an on screen display menu you can use to fine tune your camera settings (All cameras except 3X and 10X 720). Setting and calling a preset can be done by pressing the set button and the number you which to set the preset to. Then to call the preset you simply press the number button you have assigned.
