Fourteenth Studio Album on 180g Double Vinyl!
Standing In The Breach, Jackson Browne's fourteenth studio album, is a collection of ten songs, at turns deeply personal and political, exploring love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life.
Jackson Browne is an American rock singer-songwriter and musician. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by his friend Bruce Springsteen. Known for popular songs such as "Somebody's Baby" and "The Pretender," Jackson has a strong political and personal influence reflected in his music. He received the Courage of Conscience Awards from The Peace Abbey in Sherborn, Massachusetts for promoting peace and justice through his music.
"Lyrically, Browne is inspired in a way he hasn't been since 1976's The Pretender, and this recording's production aesthetic adheres closer to that of even earlier records...Standing in the Breach is a back to the basics Browne album, and is all the better for it. He's no longer speaking at anyone, but conversing from the well of his own experience." -Thom Jurek, allmusic.com
