Product Description: The Motorola LS4208 Symbol handheld corded 2D raster laser barcode reader is black, has a handle, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D) barcodes. This handheld barcode scanner contains a laser that produces lines of light in a two-dimensional (2D) raster pattern to scan the barcode at a resolution of 5 mm. Motion tolerance helps limit errors while scanning and allows the user to scan objects while moving. The barcode reader's 7-ft. USB Type A cable plugs into the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data. It can withstand drops on a concrete floor. A stand (sold separately) enables the barcode reader to be used in a fixed position. This product weighs 6.4 oz. and measures 6.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 inches (H x L x W).
