Quaker State Ultimate Durability SAE 5W-20 Full Synthetic motor oil contains the most powerful formulation in the Quaker State portfolio. This product offers superior resistance to thermal and viscosity breakdown compared to Quaker State Advanced Durability Motor Oil Sequence IIIG & VG engine test results on 5W-30 engine oil. As the engine temperature increases, the heat-activated shear stable viscosity modifiers work to maintain oil film thickness that is necessary to prevent engine parts from metal-on-metal contact which helps extend engine life*. This motor oil maintains its viscosity from start to finish, which means it stays in the grade specified by the car manufacturer throughout the recommended oil drain interval. The product also contains special detergents and dispersant additives that are designed to neutralize the harmful acids generated by the combustion process. This helps prevent the formation of sludge and deposits from forming on crucial engine parts.
