The ZoneFlex R710 features BeamFlex adaptive antenna technology. BeamFlex mitigates co-channel interference by directing Wi-Fi signals where they are needed instead of towards neighboring access points. The R710's BeamFlex adaptive antenna system is also equipped with dual polarization antennas, allowing the access point to adapt to the physical orientation of client devices and maximize uplink performance. With throughput capacities of 800 Mbps ( 2.4GH z) and 1733 Mbps (5GHz), the ZoneFlex R710 supports the highest available throughput for Wi-Fi clients. 802.11 ac Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) support allows the R710 to simultaneously transmit to multiple client devices, drastically improving airtime efficiency, overall throughput, and availability.

Power consumption: 8W minimum, 11W typical. Intended for PoE (Power over Ethernet), Power Adapter Not Included. For deployment of multiple access points, a controller (sold separately) is highly recommended. Controller-specific features (such as Smart Mesh networking) are unavailable when the AP is running a standalone AP base image.
