45rpm 180g Vinyl LP Mastered by Bernie Grundman!
Cellist Elinor Frey and pianist David Fung perform compositional works by Falla, J.S. Bach & more for this audiophile recording on 180g 45rpm LP.
Dialoghi remains a Yarlung favorite for many customers around the world. Elinor Frey and David Fung achieved a musical synergy in this 2007 recording that has continuously endeared it to audiophile fans and chamber music aficionados alike. Mastering engineers Steve Hoffman and Bob Attiyeh prepared the master tape and vinyl mastering engineer Bernie Grundman & Attiyeh but three sets of lacquers before they were satisfied with the results. Friend and supporter Jon Fisher, Gearworks Pro Audio loaned them their exquisite AKG C-24 stereo microphone, one of the few still using the orignial brass surrounc CK12 tube in excellent condition. They used Yarlun-Records-designed interconnects with a flat silver ribbon suspended in air for the dielectric, customized vacuum tube preamplifiers, no mixer, and recorded directly to two tracks of Agfa 468 tape at 15 ips.
"On Dialoghi, a demonstration-quality CD from Yarlung Records that Robert Levi urged me to play, the sound of Elinor Frey's cello was as warm and beautiful as anyone would ever want it to be. I was in love" - Jason Victor Serinus, Stereophile
"Dialoghi remains the best cello/piano recording yet done by anyone, anywhere, in my humble opinion. A true reference!" - Bob Live, President Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society
