The tone generator helps calibrating audio levels between the recorder and a DSLR or video camera without the need for an attenuator cable. The LMF-1 Lavalier mic attaches to the recorder and directly starts recording on its microSD card. By recording directly to the F1 Recorder, interference or noise commonly experienced when using a wireless beltpack system is eliminated.
