Authentic tube sound
Nutube is a new and revolutionary fully analog triode vacuum tube developed by KORG and Noritake Itron Corporation. The OD-S has 2 GAIN knobs. In addition to adjusting the input level to the vacuum tube (GAIN), the anode load of the vacuum tube amplification circuit can be changed using the TUBE GAIN. This allows to accurately adjust the sound from the vacuum tube to liking.
The OD-S also incorporates a switch that lets choose between 2 different overdrive types (with different Low - High ranges) along with True Bypass; making it an ideal pedal for live performances.

Two Boost Modes:
Clean Boost
In the Clean mode, Lacerate only boosts the signal, increasing the volume without any sound colorization. For this reason, Lacerate is one of the cleanest "clean boost" pedals available.
Crank Boost
If want fat, harmonically rich boost tone, just hold down the foot-switch (1 second) to engage the 2nd stage which adds overdrive tone. Most boost pedals will only yield about + 20dB maximum, but Lacerate's Crank mode gives a whopping + 35dB.Higher Voltage, Increased Headroom & Dynamic Lacerate has an integrated voltage-doubler which automatically changes 9V to 18V giving ginormous headroom and dynamic.
True Bypass or Buffer Bypass
Doubling the voltage to 18V gives better dynamic, but it also creates a better headroom buffer.

The tone will only affect the repeats, not the overall sound from the guitar. With the delay pedal's Loop can insert an external effect device, like a chorus, phase, overdrive pedal, or EQ. With this can either color or modulate the echo in a multitude of different ways with really cool results. Once again, the sounds produced in the loop only work on the repeats, not on the overall tone coming from the guitar. Inserting a modulation effect into the loop requires to regulate the echo and feedback to lesser settings, as the feedback can go into oscillation if left in the same setting without modulation. The delay pedal's Trail switch lets guitarists choose whether want trails on or off when in bypass mode. Trails are the echo ringing out when bypass the effect pedal, in off position the effect stops immediately when bypassed. As with all the Danish built Carl Martin effects, the Echotone delay pedal comes in a low-profile housing, coated in a stunning off-white color, with a built-in 12v (+/-) regulated power supply.
