In No. 25, the & quot;little & quot; G minor, Muti is fast and fierce in the first movement, with no sense that this is an early work, and in the second movement Andante, he keeps the violins unmuted, bringing out more sharply the tonal contrasts with the woodwind in alternate phrases. Counting all concerts, operas, tours and recording sessions together, the Vienna Philharmonic performed around 700 times with Herbert von Karajan, beginning in 1934 and ending with the conductor's death in 1989. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;These tone poems by Strauss constitute striking examples of the unique artistry of Karajan's interpretative powers. Burdicek processes the original master tapes for perfect 1:1 transfers. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;At the Tonzauber Studio an original Studer 810 stands ready for processing and prior to tape copying the heads are demagnetized and the azimuth perfectly adjusted. According to Burdicek, the sound is astonishing because of its dynamic range, which is far greater than indicated by the measured values: True dynamic range of 35 - 40 dB and frequencies up to 15 kHz can be achieved. Among other things, this can also be attributed to Burdicek's solid-tube mixing console and the analogue equalizer. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;To ensure an outstanding sound in the vinyl format there is no compromising with the space on the record itself. Due to the discrete analog technology and the large recording concert hall, equipped with a Boesendorfer Imperial grand piano (the largest Boesendorfer model, Grand 305 cm), the premises represent an exceptional recording situation for today's professionals. The old WSW recording console is a special part of the studio, as the signals are processed with transistor and vacuum tube technology. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt; Live Recording: & lt;/strong & gt; No monitor speakers were used during the recording at the Pro-Ject Headquarters in order to guarantee an absolutely sound-neutral, dynamic live stereo image during live recording, as, with speakers in the recording room, there would be uncontrollable crosstalk and undesired interference, which would severely affect the quality of the recording.
