Stockfisch Records Vinyl Collection 180g LP
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; During the eighties not only experts and professionals assured: the vinyl record will be squeezed out of the market by new digital sound media very soon. From today´s view this is an obvious mistake, because turn tables, preamplifiers, and vinyl records still exist! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch-Records and its mastering studio Pauler Acoustics never acted on this assumed trend. Far from it! Stockfisch had always dedicated the black discs deliberately to selected recordings: think about the vinyl releases of Sara K.´s & quot;Water Falls & quot; or & quot;Pearl Diver & quot; by David Roth . They have selected 10 extraordinary tracks from the Stockfisch repertoire of the last 4 years and compiled them for another Stockfisch-LP of uncompromising quality (180g vinyl, audiophile pressing, DMM cutting, detailed booklet with photos and explanations). & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • DMM 180g Audiophile Vinyl Pressing & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt;1. Highly Recommended! & quot; - Bob Bantz, president of Elusive Disc & lt;/font & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; A band begins to play, the sound of tin whistle, violin and bodhrán, this is Celtic folk music, bluegrass, Mexican music and country music, at times with a hint of music from eastern Europe and Africa. The Paperboys perform live in the studio - and it is plain to hear they are having a lot of fun doing this. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The Paperboys are a folk music band from Vancouver. They have been playing together since 1991 and some of their recordings were honored with folk music awards. Regularly featured at folk festivals in North America and Europe, the Paperboys have toured on both continents creating an ever growing community of followers. Their adventurous mix of musical styles ultimately gives expression to their love of music and the joy it can create. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;In the spring of 2007 we were on tour in Germany and were invited to come in and do a live session at The Stockfish Recording Studio. This studio is well known for their excellence in recording and promoting acoustic music. For three days we recorded several songs 'live off the floor'. We loved the studio and their staff and would like to thank them for their talent and hospitality. We also would like to thank the Gack family for always giving us a place to call home. Last, we'd like to thank Oli Gack, Juergen Rittinger and the folks at Magnetic Music for all of their hard work and dedication to our career in Germany. Hope you enjoy this batch of songs. & quot; - Tom Landa and The Paperboys & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Tom Landa, vocals, acoustic & amp; electric guitar, jarana & lt;br & gt; Geoffrey Kelly, flutes, whistles, vocals & lt;br & gt; Kendel Carson, fiddle, vocals & lt;br & gt; Ashley MacLeod, fiddle, piano, vocals & lt;br & gt; Brad Gillard, bass, banjo, vocals & lt;br & gt; Matt Brain, drums, percussion & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;a name= & quot;SS & quot; & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;img border= & quot;0 & quot; src= & quot;/content/images/soundsampletitle.jpg & quot; width= & quot;260 & quot; height= & quot;27 & quot; & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;img border= & quot;0 & quot; src= & quot;/content/images/selectionstitle.jpg & quot; width= & quot;110 & quot; height= & quot;20 & quot; & gt; & lt;table border=0 & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;td & gt; & lt;a href= & quot;http://ed2.cartnear.net/audioclips/sfsa4054/01.mp3 & quot; target='_blank' & gt; & lt;img src= & quot;/content/images/mp3.gif & quot; border=0 height=15 & gt; & lt;/img & gt; & lt;/a & gt; & lt;/td & gt; & lt;td class='plaintext' & gt; 1. Stockfisch DMM-Dubplate Vol. 1 LP (Vinyl)
& lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;TAS Super LP List! Special Merit: Informal & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;A New Way To Bring Vinyl Fans Closer To The Original Recording! & lt;br & gt; Features Chris Jones, Carl Cleves, Parissa Bouas, Ewen Carruthers & amp; Sara K.! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;This item not eligible for any further discount offers! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Stockfisch have found a new way to bring vinyl fans even closer to the original recording. Their DMM lathe cuts the audio into a copper plated steel disc. They normally use this process to create a 14 & quot; DMM-Master that is sent to pressing plants for the production of vinyl records. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Their new DMM-Dubplate however, is about the same size as a 12 & quot; vinyl record. This makes it possible to play it on any record player and helps you bypass the loss in sound quality that is caused by the additional steps in the production of records, such as galvanic processes and the pressing of the vinyl. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;The DMM-Dubplate avoids issues like pre-echos and crackling noises. The high purity phosphate-copper has very little groove noise and clicking noises are seldom. Only one side of a DMM disc is recordable since the backside is not copper plated. The tracking force of the tonearm can be left as is. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Important Information: & lt;/strong & gt; The DMM-Dubplate should not be washed with a record-cleaning machine, since it might cause a chemical reaction on the copper surface. In contrast to a vinyl record, there's no mechanical abrasion and no electrostatic charge in the copper groove. After the DMM-Dubplate has been played, it should be placed back in the plastic sleeve together with the white protection sheet, in order to prevent oxidation. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Please also note: & lt;/strong & gt; With the DMM-Dubplate, the wear-rate of the diamond-stylus is comparable to when playing a regular vinyl record. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM-Dubplate LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Copper plated steel disc & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;High purity phosphate-copper & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Same size as a 12 & quot; Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Plays on any record player & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bypasses the loss in sound quality caused by vinyl production & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Avoids pre-echos and crackling noises & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Very little groove noise & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;One-sided disc & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Chris Jones - No Sanctuary Here & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Carl Cleves & amp; Parissa Bouas - Into The Light & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Chris Jones - Fender Bender & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Ewen Carruthers - When Time Turns Around & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sara K. - Step On Mine & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Enjoyable Listening, Audiophile Sound! A great introduction to Stockfisch artists! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It is astonishing and pleasing: in the face of downloads and MP3 there is still a market demand for the vinyl LP, which is already 60 years old. Stockfisch, therefore, releases the second volume of their Vinyl Collection containing ten tracks featuring known and new Stockfish artists. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch compiled the tracks for Volume 2 of the Vinyl Collection following the established criteria of the 'Closer To the Music' compilations. On one hand they want to offer samples of current Stockfisch albums, on the other hand they would like to give a sneak peek on their future recordings. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; For the first time available on vinyl are one of Allan Taylor's songs from the Porsche/Burmester session, Ewen Carruthers & quot;That Train & quot; - paying homage to the English singer/songwriter who departed in 2010, Paul O'Brien - the Irish melancholic songwriter from Canada, the Australian folk-duo Carl & amp; Parissa, and David Munyon's new album Pretty Blue. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The unreleased song from Katja Maria Werker's first Stockfisch album, & quot;Mitten Im Sturm & quot;, the guitar piece played by the virtuoso Ralf Illenberger, who had recorded with Stockfisch Records in the '70s, and lives in the U.S.A. today, furthermore a wonderful song from Paul Stephenson's third album, (to be release in 2012), are among those Stockfisch is excited to introduce. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The label is also glad to present an unreleased piece with the outstanding guitarist Chris Jones who passed away in 2005. During a studio session in 2001, a remarkable instrument, a Dreadnought, made by Moritz C. Sattler (Manzanita), caught Chris' eyes. He couldn't stop improvising with his guitar - and happily Stockfisch let the tape keep running. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Pre-mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; • Mastering Monitors: B & amp;W Nautilus 801 D & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. & lt;b & gt; & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180g Audiophile Vinyl! & lt;/font & gt; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; For the third edition of the Stockfisch Vinyl Vinyl Collection, titles were selected from their current program, which sound particularly well on the vinyl format: deep-sounding, smooth and transparent timbre characterize the 10 pieces on Vol.3. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Among them are & quot;good old friends & quot; such as Allan Taylor or Steve Strauss - but also Günter Pauler's new discoveries for Stockfisch like Carrie Newcomer from Indiana, Kerstin Blodig from Norway or the Anglo-Irish band Ranagri. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch is particularly proud and happy to welcome the famous American singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer to the fold. Her rich velvety voice and heartfelt songs captivate audiences world-wide. The Norwegian singer/songwriter/guitarist Kerstin Blodig presents her debut-album on Stockfisch. The recordings took place in a clearing in one of Germany’s largest forest areas - in Solling. The rich natural atmosphere - including birdsong & amp; sounds from the vegetation - fits wonderfully to Kerstin’s haunting Norwegian songs and soulful acoustic-guitar playing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Four London musicians; one traditional Irish player, two classically trained, and one blues singer and guitarist, all with a passion for folk music. This quartet named Ranagri sound like a precious, unspoiled spot of beauty – the Irish village of Ranagri that gave the band its name. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Allan Taylor sings a very introspective song from his latest album & quot;All Is One & quot;. New York based Steve Strauss introduces his third album and the Stockfisch-Stars David Munyon and Paul O'Brien are represented with excerpts from their latest albums. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Audiophile Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Pre-mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; • Mastering Monitors: B & amp;W Nautilus 801 D & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The Sebastian Sternal Trio Paris 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch-Records releases Sebastian Sternal Trio Live-in-Studio-Session also as audiophile 180g-Vinyl-LP cut with Stockfisch´s in-house Direct-Metal-Mastering cutting lathe. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;La vie en rose & quot;, sings Edith Piaf, elated by the atmosphere of a city which has inspired artists – painters, poets and musicians – from all over the world. This album is a tribute to this city which has fascinated Sebastian Sternal ever since his childhood. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; And finally in autumn 2007 he moved for a year to Paris in order to study at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse, to meet people, imbibe the atmosphere of places and experience their mood and spirit. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This gave rise to a very personal picture of Paris. Two & quot;old & quot; friends accompanied him on this journey – Sebastian Klose on the double bass, and Axel Pape on percussion. They have been playing together for 8 years now – inspired by that familiar interaction process that leads them again and again to discover new musical structures. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; It is also a greatest pleasure to introduce their guest from Paris: Anne-Marie Jean. With her versatile voice, she, as a Frenchwoman, lends a special authenticity to this city portrait. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • DSD-to-Disc Mix by Christian Struck & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Sebastian Sternal, piano & lt;br & gt; Sebastian Klose, upright bass & lt;br & gt; Axel Pape, drums, percussion & lt;br & gt; Guest Musician: & lt;br & gt; Anne-Marie Jean, vocal (1,3,6) & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Sara K In The Groove 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;This Audiophile Direct Metal Mastered Heavy Weight 180g Vinyl LP contains ten selections from Sara K.'s previous albums, including studio as well as live recordings! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Sara K. is in a class all her own. & amp;nbsp; This singer is gifted with the rare ability of having an emotional grasp of the listener by virtue of her spontaneous and intensive aura that casts a spell on her audience. & amp;nbsp; All her records have received several high-caliber awards, including a number of jazz awards. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The death-bells started ringing for the vinyl LP in 1982, the year in which the digital audio compact disc first appeared on the market, but in spite of all the doom 'n' gloom forecasts the vinyl LP has proved to be a true survivor. Regardless of all the constantly developing new techniques and formats in the field of music reproduction, the LP exists to this day and is valued highly by many listeners. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The vinyl LP normally has two sides of music - and Sara K. presents two sides of her musical artistry. On the one side we have her impressive and very convincing (solo) live concerts, where she fascinates her audience solely with her unique voice and her almost fragile-sounding accompaniment on the 4-string guitar. On the other side there are her beautiful studio recordings, where a whole range of musicians complement her pieces with an endless palette of musical styles, instruments and ideas: from concert harp, string quartet and accordion through to fretless bass, tuba and piano. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch wanted to document these two sides of her work on the second release in their & quot;In the Groove & quot; series: an audiophile 180g vinyl LP, recorded onto vinyl using their own Neumann VMS-82 Direct-Metal-Mastering (DMM) cutting lathe. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;I am pleased to offer you this collection of songs on vinyl. We carefully selected these songs from my catalogue, previously only available on digital formats. I hope you will enjoy it... & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Sara K. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; DMM Disc Cutting by Hendrik Pauler on a Neumann VMS-82. Mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics. People from this small country are traditionally notorious for being adept travelers. Wherever Fate places them – on the ocean-going vessels of old or their modern mobile home counterparts – they are courageous people. Dennis Kolen had the courage to believe in Stockfisch, and that's why he found the Northeim Goldmine. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Dennis Kolen grew up with the music of his fathers vinyl collection: Jackson Browne, James Taylor or Paul Simon had been Dennis´ musical vision and orientation. Above all his influences came from the protagonists of the West Coast Music in the seventies: The Eagles, Poco, Crosby, Stills & amp; Nash... - listen to the great harmony vocals on this 180g LP! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This singularly expressive voice belongs to a man who fears not the great ones, the likes of the Beatles or Joni Mitchell. & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; With his album Red Rock Journeys, a musician who can undoubtedly be classed as one of the greats of acoustic guitar music can now be heard on Stockfisch: Ralf Illenberger. He plays Instrumentals which elude the shackles of musical genre; while ideal for quietly dreaming, they can also unleash a surprising amount of energy and drive. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Red Rock Journeys is a collection of guitar pieces that I composed in the USA influenced by the picturesque scenery of the red rock mountains of Sedona, Arizona, the place where I live since many years. & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;I have re-recorded them at the Stockfisch Studio in Germany, mostly with just an acoustic guitar, but also with Sandro Gulino playing bass on some of them. This is where they also differ from my original recorded versions. & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;On three of the musical pieces on the (album), I have utilized echo & amp; delay as a musical mirror to lend impact to the music. The echo is the same level as the original guitar signal and repeats only once... The echo delay is stated in milliseconds for each piece. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Ralf Illenberger, November 2011 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Red Rock Journeys is recorded as an audiophile 180g vinyl cut with Stockfisch's in-house Direct-Metal-Mastering cutting lathe. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Mastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Joining forces with Shane Alexander, they figure not only as The Greater Good ensemble; with the album of the same name, they now also appear as a trio for the first time on Stockfisch. And that is a sound to behold. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Without much ado and preliminaries, the three musicians meet at the Stockfisch studio in Northeim and give their creativity and expertise free reign. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Et voilà: what has something of the character of a reunion of old friends turns out to be a must-hear, not only for those who know and appreciate the solo productions of Ruffolo and Kolen. Listeners who experience these artists for the first time as The Greater Good will enjoy these ten mellow, yet catchy tracks with their captivating vocal harmonies and intricate, rhythmic guitar work - as one savors the exquisite warmth of an excellent wine that is the perfect blending of first-class ingredients: a finely nuanced, ember glow that warms from within. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Such musical master craftsmanship is what it takes If It's Feeling Fine. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch-Records has released this recording as an audiophile 180g-Vinyl-LP cut with Stockfisch´s in-house Direct-Metal-Mastering cutting lathe. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Mastering & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Dennis Kolen, vocals, guitars, bass, piano, hammond b3, dobro, mandolin & lt;br & gt; Eugene Ruffolo, vocals, guitars, percussion & lt;br & gt; Shane Alexander, vocals, guitars & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Paul O'Brien Long May You Sing 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl Direct Metal Master LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Paul O'Brien is a songwriter with deep roots and broad horizons. An English-born child of Irish immigrants, he cut his teeth on Irish music. A natural story teller, Paul O'Brien has developed an eclectic folk style that is broadly appealing and not easily categorized. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;A working class poet from British Columbia with a knack for straightforward language held aloft by a sweet gift of melody ... & quot; & lt;/b & gt;- Boulevard Magazine & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The second studio album from Stockfisch records is an album of Canadian classics plus a brand new song written by Paul. On this album Paul O'Brien is joined (among others) by master Canadian guitar player and composer Don Ross. On the album there are songs written by & lt;b & gt;Gordon Lightfoot & lt;/b & gt;, & lt;b & gt;Joni Mitchell & lt;/b & gt;, & lt;b & gt;Neil Young & lt;/b & gt;, and & lt;b & gt;Leonard Cohen & lt;/b & gt; to name but a few. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; There's something which connects all the songs on this album: all are by Canadian composers. This is much more than a mere collection of hits - thanks to the poetic, strong and never sentimental interpretations of Paul O'Brien. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Canada is often not taken so seriously - particularly in Europe it is often regarded as a mere extension of the USA, a secret 51st federal state, at the most a paradise for sled dogs and canoe enthusiasts. Paul O'Brien breaks with these clichés on his album & quot;Long May You Sing & quot; and opens up a whole new perspective. He openly admits to have felt like a child in a sweet shop, picking out these songs by the great Canadian composers. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Paul O'Brien about this recording: & lt;b & gt; & quot;This collection of songs is the audio equivalent of the “big kid in the candy store”. To be able to choose my favourite songs written by Canadian writers was one of the most enjoyable experiences I as a singer could have. On the other hand however, it was the most frustrating because there were so many songs I could have, and perhaps should have chosen. I have a feeling this will be but Volume 1 of a long labour of love. & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;All of these songs have in some way touched me more than the fact they are amazing pieces of art. It was not simply cherry picking (although when I look now at the track list it looks just like cherry picking). I have taken a few artistic liberties with these tunes, and I truly hope I do not offend anyone, but it seemed to me that I had to try at least to add a little of me to the performances. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Paul O'Brien was brought up in England, received an Irish-Catholic education and formed his own musical identity in pubs and at festivals, with the inevitable mixture of positive & amp; strengthening, but also negative and sobering experiences. In 2004, enough was enough - he shut his guitar away in its case and moved with his family to Canada, settling high up in the North-West - a barren landscape, the beauty of which he often documents with photos on Facebook (including pics of the beloved family Labrador & quot;Dooley & quot;). & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Even at the risk of sounding sentimental: this country and this landscape changed him - changed the musician within - in a very positive and creative sense. He took the banished guitar out of its case and the music flowed. This artistic output reached new heights on his album for Stockfisch Records & quot;Walk Back Home & quot;. The more recent album, & quot;Long May You Sing & quot;, could even top that - it is a hymn to his new way of life. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; All songs are by Canadian writers - from Bruce Cockburn, Gordon Lightfoot and Paul O'Brien right up to Neil Young, whose long & quot;Long May You Run & quot; inspired the title of the album. The original impulse for this project is not a secret. The idea came while thinking about doing something for Joni Mitchell's 70th birthday. As a tribute Paul decided to record a version of & quot;Big Yellow Taxi & quot;. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; A big part in this production was played by Canadian master-guitarist and composer Don Ross, who also contributed two solo instrumental pieces. One particular piece just had to be on the album, for all those who wish to celebrate Canada's independent musical integrity: Leonard Cohen's & quot;Hallelujah & quot;. All these songs move Paul emotionally - in his own words & quot;more than just in their function as fantastic works of art & quot;. This project is for him a mixture of thankfulness, fascination and positive energy from the heart of a very special country. the album has the greatness, the potential and the chance as & quot;volume one of a long labour of love' to go to the top of Paul's personal hit-parade. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;br & gt; & lt;/b & gt;1. Allan Taylor All Is One 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;High Quality Heavy Weight 180g Vinyl! Direct Metal Master! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;A Powerful Philosophical Statement Delivered with Virtuoso Lightness! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; On previous albums Allan Taylor sang songs about the road, about all the different countries and all the hotel rooms... & quot;All Is One & quot; goes deeper - into time and ultimately to the recognition that All Is One. A powerful philosophical statement delivered with virtuoso lightness. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Someone who is approaching 70 and calls his album & quot;All Is One & quot; obviously has something to say. Just recently Allan Taylor faced one of life's tests - a severe shoulder dysfunction prevented him from playing guitar - not an easy situation for a musician. In the meantime that is thankfully all healed and forgotten. Not shying away from the strain and frustration involved, he worked his way back to his instrument, his fans and to the recording studio at Stockfisch Records. He could have presented this album as a big comeback, a resurrection, but that is simply not the style of this master of contemplative tones. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Insiders will recognize a stringent continuation of his 2009 album & quot;Leaving at Dawn & quot;. Even then it was about leaving, about long journeys, the poetry of movement - subjects even more strongly represented on this album. Instead of driving on asphalt it's about moving through time, and the title song is the best example. He wrote the first lines back in 2004, which kept flickering back to him and could finally now be completed. The lyrics tell of old guitars and of velvet gloves which close doors - but the song is a long way from drowning in sentimental resignation. Those who can read between the lines will discover a clever mixture of dance and march: & quot;One final dance unites us all & quot;. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Taylor plays his favorite Martin guitars with the same sensitivity for body, expression and autonomy which one finds in his vocal performance - always moving, and never merely vague. In the last song Allan Taylor summarizes: & quot;I may not be the perfect man, I guess I'll do the best I can & quot; - and ends the album with the bemused lightness of a simple D-major chord. Maybe a touch too modest for a master? & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;In an interview with The Living Tradition, Allan Taylor did an excellent job of describing what makes All Is One such a memorable album. & lt;i & gt; & quot;Because Stockfisch Records are so good at capturing an aural environment, & quot; & lt;/i & gt; Taylor said, & lt;i & gt; & quot;I knew they were the ideal company to create the sound I had in my head, a kind of wide-open landscape with lots of space between the sounds. There's a difference between space and emptiness: it's possible to have a very spare or sparse sound - very few instruments - and yet the final record can still sound full. That's precisely what I was aiming for when I started making the record. & quot; & lt;/i & gt; At times the highly reflective All Is One almost feels confessional; clearly Taylor, in his late 60s at the time the record was recorded, felt a mixture of regret and nostalgia. There's a deep, rich gravitas to Taylor's voice. He comes across as a romantic and a realist who, though far from naive, still has hope... & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Jeff Wilson, & lt;i & gt;The Absolute Sound & lt;/i & gt;, October 2019 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Allan Taylor, vocal and guitar & lt;br & gt; Ian Melrose, guitars, flute, tremolo guitar & lt;br & gt; Lutz Möller, piano, keyboard, Hammond B3 & lt;br & gt; Barnaby Taylor, piano & lt;br & gt; Lea Morris, harmony vocals & lt;br & gt; Lucile Chaubard, violoncello & lt;br & gt; Grischka Zepf, electric bass & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jörg Maucksch, fretless bass & lt;br & gt; Sven von Samson, percussion & lt;br & gt; Beo Brockhausen, percussion, bowed psaltery, saxophone & lt;br & gt; Guest Artist: & lt;br & gt; Vlado Kreslin, vocal & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. David Roth Will You Come Home 180g 45rpm 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;High Quality 180g 45rpm Double LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Will You Come Home - like a Book of Beautiful Poetry! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; David Roth's third album with Stockfisch-Records & quot;Will You Come Home & quot; is a photograph album full of treasured memories. Singer/songwriter Roth transports the listener on a magical journey through highlights in his life. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; David Roth is a musical portrait artist who conveys a wealth of stories, anecdotes and remembered scenes with a physically felt intensity. This album is reminiscent, too, of a much-loved anthology of poetry, like one of those marvelous books which one can simply open at any page. That extraordinary feeling of warmth and familiarity that takes us by surprise when listening to this music comes from the sheer magic of the melodies, the mellow harmonies, the irresistible guitar sounds and David Roth's voice. And because the message is universal: happiness and serenity, sadness, excited anticipation, gratitude, a dash of regret - and not least the humor lurking in chance observations. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; David Roth's mastery in reconciling opposite poles brings us a message: Whatever may happen, we should also treat ourselves with compassion ( & quot;Be Kind To Yourself & quot;), have trust, and the courage to be authentic: to let go, and finally be at one with ourselves, however we may be ( & quot;Will You Come Home & quot;). And what's more - we are here for a reason: our being ion this planet will ultimately help all things to work together for good ( & quot;Greater Good of All & quot;). & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; In a snowstorm like the one that created havoc along America's coastline recently, David Roth's & quot;Will You Come Home & quot; would be the THE music for weathering the storm. Being snowed-in has its advantages: these songs are like much-loved guests - how nice that they cannot leave. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;One of the reasons I write songs and play music is to try and bring more beauty into a world that needs more beauty. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - David Roth & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;David Roth, a powerful new singer-songwriter has reached our hearts. Among others: Chris Jones (guitars), Fiona Simpson and Roger Nicholls (backing vocals), Hans-Jörg Maucksch (fretless bass) as well as multi instrumentalists Siard de Jong and Beo Brockhause. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; More pearls & lt;b & gt; & quot;came out of a casual conversation Günter and I had in early 2005. We were on another subject when he asked if I’d ever considered making a collection of songs by other songwriters (“evergreens”, he called them). Truth is I’d been thinking about it for years but had never really honed in on such a project...until that moment. “Let me choose some songs” I replied, “and tell me what you think of the list.” A few short weeks later I was back in Northeim at Stockfisch with Chris Jones. & quot; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;As I thought about what it was with these particular songs and writers that drew me near, I was also reminded where I’d first heard each one and how they’d made their mark in my psyche and helped guide me down this path. All are joined with a thread that weaves compassion, empathy, longing, freedom, justice, wonder, reflection, peace, and humility. Though it’s been years since I’ve played some, like cherished old friends they’ve been exhilarating to revisit, relearn, rediscover, and gain new insight from. & quot; - & lt;/b & gt;David Roth & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; So Günter Pauler recorded David Roth performing a collection of famous and not that famous & quot;evergreens & quot; of the anglo-American songwriting: & quot;Song For You Far Away & quot; (James Taylor), & quot;I Will & quot; (Lennon/McCartney), & quot;Blowin´ In The Wind & quot; (Bob Dylan), & quot;Streets Of London & quot; (Ralph McTell), & quot;You've Got A Friend & quot; (Carole King) and 4 other pearls. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; David Roth - vocals, guitar & lt;br & gt; Chris Jones - guitars & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jörg Maucksch - fretless bass & lt;br & gt; Siard de Jong - mandolin, mandola, waldzither, electric sitar guitar, fiddle & lt;br & gt; Fiona Simpson - backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Roger Nicholls - backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Beo Brockhausen - saxophones, tin whistle, low whistle, bagpipes, accordion, kantele, hurdy-gurdy, swarmandal, sitar, sarod, glockenspiel, udu, percussion & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Spontaneously Günter Pauler recorded & quot;Solo Live & quot; - a solo performance in the Bürgersaal, Northeim, on May 16, 2015. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;A graduate of the Jay Farrar School of Earthy Americana and Rhodes scholar at the Richard Buckner Academy of Moody Soundscape Architecture, he is as natural and gifted a songwriter as his aforementioned peers. Beautiful and timeless. & quot; - Maverick & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;Christian Kjellvander apparently moved to Sweden from the US in the early 1990s. He formed a band, The Loosegoats, who released a number of well-received albums. Now Stockfisch has released his first solo live album. Kjellvander is a pagpie of influences, both European and American - bit of the & lt;b & gt;Jayhawks & lt;/b & gt; here , a touch of & lt;b & gt;Townes Van Zandt & lt;/b & gt; there, a sense of & lt;b & gt;Fairport Convention & lt;/b & gt; here and there. & quot; - The Irish Times & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;If you take a few male performers who have been at the vanguard of the Americana movement, Will Oldham, Richard Buckner, Sam Beam and David Pajo, merge them together in Sweden, and this is pretty much what you’d get. Brian Flanagan Where Dreams Are Made 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Love, loss, self-pity, recognizing chances and taking them - or not, almost mystical nature experiences, life-changing encounters, art and artists, environmental protection, human rights: it is truly a broad, moving and very current spectrum of themes which Irish singer-songwriter Brian Flanagan has worked through in the eleven tracks on this Audiophile 180g Vinyl LP. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The melodies are catchy but not banal. After having listened to the album a few times you'll find many of the wonderful tunes continually rotating around in your head - getting more familiar and enjoyable with each turn. That is of course also due to Flanagan's warm and velvety voice, the soft background choirs and the unassuming but wonderfully musical and supportive instrumental backing. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Good examples are the haunting lamentations of the flute on the title track & quot;Where Dreams Are Made & quot;, the crystal-clear yet warm Irish pipes in & quot;Flowers In the Window & quot; - a piece in memory of a friend, and the piano dripping notes like a tap in the self-searching & quot;Whole Lot of Livin' & quot;. The harmonium in & quot;Lagan Love & quot; is played by Flanagan himself, conjuring up the picture of mists rising from the river. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The listening experience gets a further deeper dimension if you read the song lyrics with their surprising images in the graphically opulent 4-page 12 & quot; x 12 & quot; leaflet. Brian Flanagan often sings quite quickly - with sometimes unexpected stops and stars. He occasionally throws in Irish words like & quot;gra & quot; (love), and not only in the traditional & quot;Lagan Love & quot;. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Irish songwriter, composer, vocalist, musician and poet, Brian Flanagan has worked with artists from diverse musical backgrounds such as Michael Flatley, Nadine Coyle, Eric Bibb, Nathan Carter, Finbar Furey, Brian Kennedy and Sharon Shannon. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Brian is renowned for his ability to write to order, emotionally charged pieces that are immediately engaging. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Brian has got a truly wonderful voice, he can really grab hold of a song and take it to the top. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Eric Bibb & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Flanagan's grasp of structure and internal rhyme is head and shoulders above most of his contemporaries. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - The Irish Times & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Mastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; • 4-page 12 & quot; x 12 & quot; lyrics leaflet & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Brian Flanagan, vocals, guitar, Indian Harmonium & lt;br & gt; Jens Kommnick, guitars, Uillean pipes, banjo, bouzouki & lt;br & gt; Lutz Moller, piano, keyboard & lt;br & gt; Jean Kelly, harp & lt;br & gt; Ian Melrose, electric guitar, lap steel guitar, flute & lt;br & gt; Lea Morris, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jorg Maucksch, fretless & amp; electric bass & lt;br & gt; Sven von Samson, percussion & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Tony Christie & Ranagri The Great Irish Songbook 180g LP (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Tony Christie - Is This the Way to Amarillo? & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; No! This time he's winding his way to Dublin, Limerick, Tullamore, and Carrickfergus. 44 Years after the release of his million-selling hit & quot;Amarillo & quot;, Tony Christie rounds off his long career with a nostalgic trip to his family's Irish roots - and has produced an Irish folk album of the very highest musical and audio quality. For this project he was able to acquire the services of the band & quot;Ranagri & quot;, who have worked with such international luminaries as Peter Gabriel, Stevie Wonder and Ennio Morricone. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Twelve of the most beautiful Irish folk classics including for instance & quot;Wild Mountain Thyme & quot; and & quot;Carrickfergus & quot;, were recorded by Christie and the band in the Grammy-nominated Stockfisch Studio in Northeim, where producer Gunter Pauler has earned an international reputation for the unusually high sound-quality of his work. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This album is not an idiosyncratic whim dreamed up over a few 'jars' at the local pub, but brings to light an aspect of Tony Christie the artist (real name: Anthony Fitzgerald) which many won't have expected. The songs have profited immensely from the contemporary arrangements, making the 'golden oldies' shine with a new brilliance. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Various successful albums tipped the vote away from naming the production & quot;Simply in Love with Irish Music & quot; or alternatively & quot;Made In Northeim & quot;. Quite deservedly, this album has been called & quot;The Great Irish Songbook & quot; - the current album of the & quot;Great Irish Singer & quot; Tony Christie. With this album, Tony Christie traces his family roots, which are very definitely in Ireland (not Amarillo). Like many of his generation, his great-grandfather went over to England looking for work. The legacy he left behind was a button accordion on the living-room cupboard and the songs of Ireland in the hearts of his family. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; How this album came about is a story which could only happen to musicians: the year is 1990. A young Irish musician (Donal Rogers) is looking for a good drummer, and following a recommendation he goes to a Tony Christie concert. After the concert he ends up at the house of drummer Sean Fitzgerald, who happens to be the son of Tony Christie. Inevitably the alcohol flows and many stories are told. The power of their common Irish heritage swells up and they sing Irish folk songs til the early hours of the next morning. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; A leap to the year 2014: the folk group Ranagri - with that very Donal Rogers - are recording an album in the renowned Stockfisch studios in Northeim. Many stories are told, among others the ones Donal and Sean told each other 24 years earlier. Suddenly an idea was born - why not make an album of these songs with Tony Christie and Ranagri? The next morning Sean Fitzgerald rang his father, Tony Christie, and the idea became reality. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This is really Tony Christie's masterful musical homage to his heritage and his ancestors. For his fans and all other interested parties this album is a very gratifying and uplifting journey to the mysteries of the Irish-Celtic music culture - modern and in excellent sound quality. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Ranagri (pronounced Ran-ag-rye) is a venture from four musicians who have come together to create some exciting new sounds. Consisting of flutes, ethnic flutes, electric harp, bodhran, guitar, bouzouki and vocals, Ranagri fuse worldwide folk music with quality contemporary songwriting, enhanced by virtuosic instrumentals, vibrant rhythms and haunting melodies, all interlaced with vivid storytelling. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • PreMastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; • DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Tony Christie, vocals & lt;br & gt; Ranagri: & lt;br & gt; Donal Rogers, guitar, banjo, shaker, drum, monochord, tambourine, vocals & lt;br & gt; Jean Kelly, harp, electric harp & lt;br & gt; Eliza Marshall, flute, bass flute, whistle, low whistle, bansuri, harmonium, vocals & lt;br & gt; Tad Sargent, bodhran, bouzouki, vocals & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Manfred Leuchter, accordion & lt;br & gt; Jens Kommnick, pipes & lt;br & gt; Lucile Chaubard, violoncello & lt;br & gt; Justin Stefan Ciuche, viola & lt;br & gt; Lutz Moller, harpsichord, keyboard & lt;br & gt; Mary MacMaster, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Eilidh Shaw, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Mairearad Green, backing vocals, accordion & lt;br & gt; Urs Fuchs, bass & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jorg Maucksch, bass & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. & lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This sounds like a recipe for disaster. Here we have four stubbornly independent artistic individuals, a creative quartet of highly-trained instrumentalists, two women, two men, each with their own moving and impressive backgrounds, four unmistakable voices, four uniquely individual perspectives on root work and euphony - and yet: sometimes true magic lies in just such an unlikely but inspired mixture. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Simple genre-labeling is just impossible here. When Irish folk traditions meet the vibrant melodies of a lively city like London, when classical instrumental training collides with the hard hands-on club experience of the blues musician, when an intellectual understanding of music rubs shoulders with a clearly audible knowledge and feel for the golden decades of pop music, it is precisely this immense richness of related and associated styles, sources and roots that make this rich and soulful bundle of a dozen songs so unique and radiant. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Regardless of whether you have an award-winning harpist, a flute player comfortable in all styles, a busy multi-instrumentalist or a singer-songwriter who travels the world, these different backgrounds and horizons, experiences and peculiarities flow seamlessly into the Ranagri melting pot. The resulting music-mixture is a unique, sometimes singable, sometimes mystical musical fairytale world between intricate folk music, noble and elegant pop, artful and beautiful sounds, sympathetic pub-rock and flowing, eloquent singer-songwriter art. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The inquisitive listener who likes to read between the lines, to delve below the surface and detect the references might feel he/she recognizes a melodious echo of Clannad, a quirky remark in the style of Ray Davies, a soft-voiced wisdom a la Luka Bloom, a cultivated Christopher Cross elegance or the flowery vocal splendor of the Mamas and the Papas, but in the final reckoning it is simply the combined, sublimely powerful and sometimes wonderfully over-the-top creative imagination of these four musical magicians which brings us such mature instrumental craftsmanship, finely-tuned vocal harmonies, tradition and talent, heart and mind, spirit and feeling to a perfect state-of-the-art studio environment. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Four Irish and British multi-instrumentalists make up Ranagri, whose intricate arrangements benefit from Eliza Marshall's contributions on flute and Eleanor Turner's electric harp. Lead singer Donal Rogers is the primary songwriter on the album. While Ranagri's musical influences date back centuries, Rogers' words don't skirt the here and now - and, in fact, the Brexit-based & quot;The Medication Show & quot; explores the dangers of romanticizing the past. There's a dark tinge to Ranagri's music and lyrics that, along with a rich blend of acoustic instruments, makes for an engaging listen... Sounds like Stockfisch is still bringing listeners closer to the music while Ranagri, following in the footsteps of Elster Silberflug and Fiedel Michel, adds to Stockfisch's rich legacy of folk groups. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Jeff Wilson, & lt;i & gt;The Absolute Sound & lt;/i & gt;, October 2019 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Recorded and produced by Gunter Pauler & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Pre-mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Mastering monitors: B & amp;W 800 D3 & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; DMM disc cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Donal Rogers, lead vocals, guitars, bass, memotron & lt;br & gt; Eliza Marshall, flute, bass flute, whistles, bansuri, shakuhachi, harmonium, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Eleanor Turner, electric harp, clarsach, piano, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Joe Danks, bodhran, tenor guitar, guitar, drums, percussion, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. The songs subtly work their way into our ears and we cannot help but sit back and enjoy this special listening experience - oblivious to the bustle of everyday life for an hour at least. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Whether he sings about street kids in South America ( & quot;Pablo's Eyes & quot;) or tells a dramatic tale about the American gold rush ( & quot;Lady Overlander & quot;) or contemplates the problems of the world over a cup of coffee ( & quot;Arabica Blues & quot;), Ian Smith is a storyteller par excellence and as such fits wonderfully into the meticulously chosen musicians portfolio of Stockfish Records. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;As well as the celebrated 2005 Grammy-winning American musician Tim O'Brien, who as Ian Smith's personal & quot;special guest & quot; contributed backing vocals, mandolin and guitar tracks, you also experience the supportive musicianship of a range of superb musician colleagues such as Beo Brockhausen (various wind instruments), Hans-Jorg Maucksch (bass), Jens Kommnick (who played his guitar parts live with Ian Smith in the studio) and Manfred Leuchter (accordion), who have once again lifted the already beautiful song material to a yet higher level. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Premastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in Germany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;musicians & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Musicians & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;table & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Ian Smith & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;vocals, guitar & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Jens Kommnick & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar, bouzouki, Aria AC-75CB contra-bass guitar & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Ian Melrose & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;guitar, Manzanita weissenborn guitar, dobro & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Lea Morris & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;backing vocals & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Manfred Leuchter & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;accordion & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Wolfgang Roggenkamp & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;Hammond b-3 & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Lucile Chaubard & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;cello & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Justin Ciuche & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;violin & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Viorel Bindila & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;oboe & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Heinz Lichius & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;drums & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Hans-J & amp;#246;rg Maucksch & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;fretless bass, upright bass & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Beo Brockhausen & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;soprano sax, Jew's harp, udu & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Special Guest: Tim O'Brien & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;mandolin, guitar, backing vocals & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;/table & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;When it Snows In N.Y. & lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;Stockfisch Records is happy to present this 40-year-old recording of Craig Hadden & amp; Charlie Carr recreating some of their favorite songs from the 1950s. Originally pressed on vinyl in very small numbers in 1980, this rare recording has now been transferred from the original reel-to-reel master and is being re-released on 180g Vinyl Direct Metal Master LP. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt; & quot;No matter what type of popular music you listen to today, almost every style has its roots in the 'Oldies' - the rock'n'roll of the '50s. There's something about the music of this era that remains great even in the '80s. We tried to recreate these songs in such a way as to bring back memories for those of you who still remember them, as well as to offer something fresh and exciting for those of you who have never heard them before. I think you will agree with us that 'Oldies' never die. & quot; & lt;/strong & gt; - Craig Hadden, 1980 & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in Germany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Premastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Recorded by Gunter Pauler Tonstudio St. Blasien, Northeim, 1979 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Transferred from original analog reel to reel tape & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Resealable outer sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Poly-lined heavy paper inner sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Love's Made A Fool Of You & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Yakety Yak & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Runaway & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Duke Of Earl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Little Darling & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Bye Bye Love & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sea Of Heartbreak & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Breaking Up Is Hard To Do & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Chain Gang & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Blue Moon & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heartbeat & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Good Night - Well It's Time To Go & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;p & gt;Total running time: 34 minutes & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

Allan Taylor Analog Pearls Vol. 6 - Win Or Lose 180g LP (DMM) (Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed On High Quality 180g Vinyl LP! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;The idea to re-release Win Or Lose on Stockfisch Records came from G & amp;#252;nter Pauler after I had sent him the original master-tape that I had found amongst my archive material. I thought he might be interested, mainly because the original quality of recording was so good. Furthermore, it fell within the parameters of quality that Stockfisch demand from all of their recordings, so we decided to go ahead with the idea, releasing it on the & quot;Analog Pearls & quot; series on vinyl and SACD. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;How the original recording came to be; In the early '80s the standard of vinyl for LPs was bad, as most vinyl was re-cycled which meant it had inherent noise. I decided that the only way to make sure the recordings and pressings were of the quality I wanted was to form my own company, and & quot;go it alone & quot;. I had compromised enough, and I decided that I would strive for perfection at every stage of producing an album. I chose the best studio in the north of England, the best cutting studio in Britain and the best pressing plant. When I contacted Nimbus about pressing my album, they said that they would only press records of Classical Music, to which I replied, I would pay whatever their price was. Consequently, my album was the first non-classical record to be pressed by Nimbus. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;We recorded and mixed the album from 7th to 13th of September 1984. Most of the recording was & quot;live & quot;, with only the harmony vocals over-dubbed (apart from a few keyboard overdubs). & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;It is almost forty years since that original recording, and although much has changed as regards recording techniques and equipment, I hope the songs have stood the test of time, and you, the listener, will enjoy the result. - Allan Taylor, 2020 & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Transferred from the original reel-to-reel tape & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Premastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM disc cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Pressing at MY45, Germany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Total running time: 43:27 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;musicians & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Musicians & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;table & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Allan Taylor & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;vocal, guitar & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Mike Silver & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;backing vocals, guitar & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Pete Glennon & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;electric and double bass & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Richie Close & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;piano, Yamaha dx7, Prophet 5 & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;tr & gt; & lt;th & gt;Mike Timoney & lt;/th & gt; & lt;td & gt;accordion, Yamaha dx7, Wave 2.2 with Waveterm & lt;/td & gt; & lt;/tr & gt; & lt;/table & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 1: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Choose Your Time & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Crazy Amsterdam & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Piaf & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Angelina's Cantina & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Win Or Lose & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side 2: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Syracuse And Albany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Golden Island & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;There Was A Time & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Now You Know & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Dove & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Rose And The Briar & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

Brooke Miller Familiar 180g LP (DMM) (Vinyl)
& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This exhilarating Canadian singer/songwriter grew up in the maritime province of Prince Edward Island off Canada's East coast. Already at the age of twelve Brooke Miller made her un-timid mark singing in a punk band. And, with her looks, one is not hard put to imagine that the attractive artist could have made a successful career in acting or modeling. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; This, however, would have been to deprive the musical world of an artist who distills all of the experiences to produce the album's uniquely inspired, character-rich compositions delivered with emotional warmth and melodic softness – but also with plenty of drive and energy. The rich timbre of her voice and the quality of the guitar sound while entirely unique, resonates with influences ranging from Bruce Coburn to Joni Mitchell. The rhythmic, catching melodies with fresh elements of folk and a dash of country evoke the oceanic grandeur of her homeland. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Her guitar teamed with her distinctive artistic and personal charisma – these alone suffice to make a lasting impact on the listener. This is also her passport to Northeim. The Canadian artist with a difference whose music, like an oak tree from Prince Edward Island, is regionally rooted, branching out into universal appeal: authentic, real, upfront. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Brooke is aided by Don Ross, on bass, piano and Fender Rhodes. Ross' music borrows from blues, jazz, folk and classical music creating a style that he describes as & quot;heavy wood & quot;. Ross is the only person to twice win the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship (1988 and 1996). In the liner notes from Ross' 2003 album Robot Monster, Bruce Cockburn writes, & lt;b & gt; & quot;Nobody does what Don Ross does with an acoustic guitar. He takes the corners so fast you think he's going to roll, but he never loses control. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Stockfisch-Records has released this recording as an audiophile 180g-Vinyl-LP cut with Stockfisch´s in-house Direct-Metal-Mastering cutting lathe. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Stockfisch has earned a reputation (and deservedly so) for immersing the intricate talents of folk singers with advanced recording techniques. The tonal quality of the acoustic guitars is pristine, without any distortion or fret noise. Additionally, the multi-faceted voice of Miller is rendered with full texture and warmth. Lower and higher register notes are mellow and never overproduced. Familiar is the work of an artist with much to offer. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Robbie Gerson, www.audaud.com, 4/5 Stars!! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; • Direct Metal Mastering & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Brooke Miller, vocals, guitars & lt;br & gt; Don Ross, bass, piano, Fender Rhodes & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side One: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. After listening to the tapes, the decision was unanimous – the concert in Erlangen's City Hall on June 15th, 2002 topped them all. The performance, atmosphere and sheer energy that Sara and Chris presented here was simply overwhelming. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Live album from & quot;Queen of Audiophile & quot; Sara K. recorded during the B & amp;W sponsored Nautilus tour in 2002. Sara K. signed to Stockfisch Records after her contract with Chesky Records had finished. The new contract was only one page, which says a lot about the trust Stockfisch has in their artists. For Sara K. this was one of the motivations for signing to the label, together with the fact that her accompanying guitarist would be Chris Jones, a skilled master of his instrument and on this album in top form. Characteristics of this albuma re the live feeling that makes you part of the audience, the beautiful voice of Sara K with a variety of timbres, and the beautiful, virtuoso guitar work of Jones. Recording quality is very high for recording engineer and founder of Stockfisch Gunter Pauler that comes natural. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Hifi-Opinions.com, Quality Albums - Editors' Choice & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Let's be honest. Live albums are often bland; the songs pale versions of lavish studio originals. This one is different. The Texan songwriter and her sideman turned into groove masters during this concert in June 2002. Her 4-string and his steelstring/reso push songs such as & quot;All Your Love & quot; unresistably forward. And Sara coos, screams and squeaks in real hi-end sound. Great. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - CD-Tipps, RTL II-Text, June 17, 2003 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;An American guitarist and singer-songwriter, Sara K. cut a half-dozen records for Chesky before pairing up with Stockfisch, where seven albums ensued. Her pairing with Chris Jones made perfect sense: both share a raw and gutsy side, and this album pairs a soulful performance with vibrant sound. Gunter Pauler recorded 25 concerts during the Sara K./Chris Jones 2002 tour, and the June 15, 2002 performance in Erlangen, Germany was apparently the show where all the pistons were firing. There are no overdubs on Live in Concert, and it truly has a & quot;live & quot; feel. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Jeff Wilson, & lt;i & gt;The Absolute Sound & lt;/i & gt;, October 2019 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Double LP & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Direct Metal Mastering & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Produced, recorded and mixed by Gunter Pauler & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Premastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; DMM Disc Cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Sara K., vocals, 4-string guitar & lt;br & gt; Chris Jones, Lowden guitar, manzanita, dobro & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. His song & quot;A Giant Red Balloon & quot; makes its premiere on this release. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt; & quot;Over the last few years it has been gratifying to know that so many people are interested in our vinyl releases. Perhaps it’s not surprising, as the quality of the production is, as always, excellent, and a testament to the skill of our team. I have chosen these particular tracks mainly because I know that those of you who play the vinyl records usually play them on superb sound systems, and therefore appreciate the quality. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & quot;So, pour a glass of wine, put the record on the deck, relax and enjoy. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Allan Taylor & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; About & quot;A Giant Red Balloon & quot; which makes its premier on this album. & lt;b & gt; & quot;This song is (a) metaphor for chance and adventure. Too many people live their lives with their head down - not looking up - so they never see the red balloon that is always there - but one has to search for it. And when you see the red balloon, take hold of the rope that hangs from and let it lift you off the ground and you'll see the world. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Allan Taylor & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Recorded and produced by Gunter Pauler & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Pre-mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Mastering monitors: B & amp;W 800 D3 & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; DMM disc cutting by Hendrik Pauler on Neumann VMS-82 & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; & amp;bull; Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Allan Taylor, vocals, guitar & lt;br & gt; Chris Jones, guitar & lt;br & gt; Martin Huch, dobro & lt;br & gt; Barnaby Taylor, piano & lt;br & gt; Lutz Moller, hammond B3, piano, keyboard & lt;br & gt; Beo Brockhausen, soprano saxophone, bowed psaltery & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jorg Maucksch, fretless bass & lt;br & gt; Grischka Zepf, electric bass & lt;br & gt; Chrstina Lux, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Vlado Kreslin, vocal & lt;br & gt; Gottinger Symphonie Orchester & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Jones' guitar and voice take center stage while additional instruments weave their way into the soundscape subtly and effectively. Jones' nimble fingerstyle guitar i son display throughout the album, and his delicate and cleanly-executed phrasing - not to mention a lovely melody - make the instrumental & quot;Jolanda's Wedding March & quot; a standout cut. Roadhouses & amp; Automobiles has been a favorite at audio shows, and it is on the TAS Super LP list. & quot; & lt;/b & gt; - Jeff Wilson, & lt;i & gt;The Absolute Sound & lt;/i & gt;, October 2019 & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • 45rpm 12 & quot; Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Special High Dynamic Vinyl Edition & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold Jacket & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Chris Jones - vocals, guitars & lt;br & gt; Grischka Zepf - electric bass & lt;br & gt; Siard de Jong - fiddle, mandolin & lt;br & gt; Nils Tuxen - pedal steel & lt;br & gt; Martin Huch - pedal steel & lt;br & gt; Wolfgang Beisert - mandolin & lt;br & gt; Beo Brockhausen - saxophone, african bow harp & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jörg Maucksch - fretless bass & lt;br & gt; Christina Lux - backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Thomas Klippel - hammond b3 & lt;br & gt; Lutz Möller - piano & lt;br & gt; Christian Rien - trumpet & lt;br & gt; Michael Kleinhans - tuba & lt;br & gt; Yogi Jockusch - percussion & lt;br & gt; Christian Archontidis - drums & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. & lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Direct Metal Mastering Pressed on High Quality 180 Gram Vinyl! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;In 1979, Chris Jones and Charlie Carr came together to record some of their own songs along with a few traditional pieces. The tapes of this recording lay hidden in the Stockfish archive for 40 years, only to resurface again in 2019. Stockfish Records is glad to release the results of this collaboration as the third album in its & quot;Analog Pearls & quot; series. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt;Stockfisch-Records started a series called & quot;Analog Pearls & quot;. These old analog recordings were chosen because of the fantastic sound. For the series G & amp;#252;nter Pauler is looking in archives and is searching for grantors of a license. Before releasing as & quot;Analog Pearls & quot; the tracks have been carefully remastered at Stockfisch-Records. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt; & quot;Rediscovering the tapes of this production after such a long time brought back memories of how I first met Chris Jones: it was thanks to Charlie Carr, at that time working at an army-shop in Southern Germany, who acquired for me a Crown DC-300 - the sensational power amplifier of the time. As a way of thanking him, I offered to do a recording at our studio. Charlie was thrilled and brought Chris Jones with him, who was to accompany him during the recording sessions. Thus began our wonderful musical journey with Chris Jones. & quot; & lt;/strong & gt; - Gunter Pauler, 2019 & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in Germany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Premastering: Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM Disc Cutting: Hendrik Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Recorded by Gunter Pauler Tonstudio St. Blasien, Northeim, 1979 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Transferred from original analog reel to reel tape & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Resealable outer sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Poly-lined heavy paper inner sleeve & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Cod'ine & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Instr. & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Footprints In The Snow - Instr. & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The Goodbye Song & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Walter & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Willin' & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hills Of Shiloh & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Johnny, I Hardly Knew You & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;John Henry & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Moving You Out & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;p & gt;Total running time: 38 minutes & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/section & gt;

& lt;font color= & quot;#FF0000 & quot; & gt; & lt;b & gt;Pressed On High Quality 180g 45rpm Double LP! & lt;/b & gt; & lt;/font & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Carrie Newcomer is a songwriter, recording artist, performer and educator. A friendly, un-dogmatic but at the same time deep spirituality is at the core of her artistry. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Once upon a time there was a singer from a far-off country who was fair of face and sang with the voice of an angel. Her name was Carrie Newcomer and she possessed a rich store of artistic experience. The master troubadours of Stockfisch heard of this wonderful songstress, and because in a fairy-tale nothing is impossible, they waved their wands and whisked her over the wide, wide ocean to ultimately land in the fabled acoustic cavern of Northeim. There they enhanced her golden voice with lutes, flutes and other fabulous instruments... & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; The wonderful thing is, this is not a fairy tale, or more correctly, for the poets, dreamers, and connaisseurs (actually for all of us), this is a fairy-tale come true! With its warm, catchy tunes and mellow, autumnal glow, The Slender Thread, Newcomer's debut album on Stockfisch, can easily become a habit. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; One can't help getting the impression - Carrie Newcomer has a gift for happiness. For the artist herself, incidentally, her songs are old friends – they stand for her friendship with life, people and not least with music. The Slender Thread beckons with the promise of a good friend in the making - or perhaps a whole group of good friends in these songs and melodies that are sure to get stuck in your head. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; Her gift of happiness is contagious: it rubs off on us too! & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Features: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; • 45rpm 12 & quot; Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl & lt;br & gt; • Double LP & lt;br & gt; • Gatefold jacket & lt;br & gt; • Made in Germany & lt;br & gt; • Pre-Mastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch at Pauler Acoustics & lt;br & gt; • DMM disc cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;br & gt; • Mastering Monitors: B & amp;W Bowers & amp; Wilkins 801 D & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Musicians: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; Carrie Newcomer, lead and harmony vocals, acoustic guitar & lt;br & gt; Gary Walters, piano, marimba & lt;br & gt; Ian Melrose, guitar, percussion & lt;br & gt; Jean Kelly, Irish harp & lt;br & gt; Lutz Moller, keyboards & lt;br & gt; Jens Kommnick, tin-whistle, ocarina, mandola & lt;br & gt; Manfred Leuchter, accordion & lt;br & gt; Beo Brockhausen, hang & lt;br & gt; Lea Morris, backing vocals & lt;br & gt; Sven von Samson, percussion & lt;br & gt; Hans-Jorg Maucksch, fretless bass & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt; & lt;b & gt;Selections: & lt;br & gt; Side A: & lt;/b & gt; & lt;br & gt; 1. Benny Goodman Analog Pearls Vol. 5 - Live in Hamburg 1981 180g 2LP (Vinyl)
& lt;header & gt; & lt;p & gt; & lt;strong & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl Direct Metal Master Double LP! & lt;/strong & gt; & lt;/p & gt; & lt;/header & gt; & lt;p & gt;This recording of one of Benny Goodman's last concerts in Germany (which was held for NDR's & quot;Sunday Concerts & quot; series) is much more than a newly discovered collector's item for fans of the eternally young American swing tradition. Using minimal recording equipment, G & amp;#252;nter Pauler made an exciting and even touching sound-document of Goodman's worldclass playing at the Hamburg Congress Centre on his last European tour in 1981. The impressive interplay between the (then) young Danish and Belgian musicians and the old master of classic jazz on the large stage of the CCH Hamburg showcases great mutual playing synergy and class. & lt;/p & gt; & lt;p & gt; Accompanied by a quintet of Danish top musicians including the violinist Svend Asmussen (who died in 2017) plus the Belgian guitarist Philip Catherine, Goodman's rather traditional clarinet tone comes together with pulsing European jazz to create a surprisingly captivating result. Even after thousands of shows, Goodman still manages to coax exciting moments out of songs from the worldwide jazz canon ranging from & quot;After You've Gone & quot; to the legendary & quot;Sing, Sing, Sing & quot;. Whether in an intimate duet with the violinist and vibraphonist Svend Asmussen, or playing & quot;Lady Be Good & quot; with the whole band, the old-master allows his younger accompanying musicians plenty of room for individual interpretation and still drives the quintet repeatedly back to the dance floor of the American swing of the 30s. Goodman's legacy: & quot;It's Easy To Remember & quot;, one man, one clarinet, one melody. An ecstaticly swinging evening, captured perfectly and impressively. - Axel Janssen, May 2020 & lt;/p & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;features & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Features & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;ul & gt; & lt;li & gt;Heavy Weight High Quality 180g Vinyl LP & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Direct Metal Master Cut Vinyl & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Live at CCH Hamburg, December 9, 1981 & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Recorded by Gunter Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Transferred from the original analog reel-to-reel tape & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Premastering by Hans-Jorg Maucksch, Pauler Acoustics & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;DMM disc cutting by Hendrik Pauler & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Gatefold Jacket & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Made in Germany & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Total running time: 93 minutes & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ul & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;musicians & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Musicians & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;table & gt; & lt;li & gt;Benny Goodman - clarinet & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Svend Asmussen - violin, vibraphone & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Philip Catherine - guitar & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Mads Vinding - bass & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Bjarne Rostvold - drums & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Claes Crona - piano & lt;/li & gt; & lt;!--More musician rows go here-- & gt; & lt;/table & gt; & lt;/section & gt; & lt;section id= & quot;selections & quot; & gt; & lt;h3 & gt;Selections & lt;/h3 & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side A: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;After You've Gone & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; If I Had You & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Avalon & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Careless Love & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; The Days Of Wine And Roses & lt;/li & gt; & lt;!--More tracks go here in & lt;li & gt; tags-- & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side B: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Hush-a-Bye & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sweet Georgia Brown & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;I Want To Be Happy & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Here's That Rainy Day & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Oh, Lady Be Good & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side C: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;Nuages & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Airmail Special & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; On The Sunny Side Of The Street & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Don't Be That Way & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt; Body And Soul & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;h4 & gt;Side D: & lt;/h4 & gt; & lt;ol & gt; & lt;li & gt;How High The Moon & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Sing, Sing, Sing (With A Swing) & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;Goodbye & lt;/li & gt; & lt;li & gt;It's Easy To Remember & lt;/li & gt; & lt;/ol & gt; & lt;/section & gt;
