This printed pillow uses the geometric influence of southwestern iconic patterning to present a crafted pillow. Reclaimed sari strands are hand selected for color and are hand spun into yarns for a unique yarn. These yarns are then topically applied to the strong geometric patterns by machine embroidery stitchery. While the colors of each strand will be the same, the location of each color on the pillow will not be the same. This is not considered a flaw but rather a celebration of the hand-crafted nature of these yarns. This pillow features a top and bottom printed band as well as a solid coordinating cotton back with a hidden zipper closure. The texture of this fabric face also lends a distressing quality to the printing technique giving this pillow a totally crafted appeal.
