You can conveniently charge your smartphones or other USB compatible device with the two 2 AMP USB charge ports. Most conventional USB charge ports are 1 AMP. Having 2 AMPs means more power, faster charge times and gives you the option to charge more powerful devices. Each USB charge port provides 2000mA recharging current. Devices requiring more than 2000mA should not be used. Charging time may vary for different devices. Avoid charging tablets; they may require more than 2 AMPs. Is the alarm loud enough? With the SHARP alarm clock you can switch from low to the high alarm setting, great for deep sleepers! This clock is electric operated; the battery backup does not power the clock. The battery backup is used for storing the time and alarm settings if the power is interrupted. During battery backup the clock’s display will not be lit. Once the power is restored the display will re-light. Check the time to make sure it is accurate and adjust if necessary.
