The SGN217 robust windshield and dashboard car mount holds the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, S6, S5, S4, and S3, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Note Edge, Note 5, Note 4, and Note
3. It also holds midsize (7” or 8” screen size) tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and 8.0, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Tab Active, and Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. The mount includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder, a large-sized 80mm windshield suction car mount base with one-touch lever, and a 3M adhesive disk (for optional dashboard mounting).
The Slim-Grip Ultra’s spring-loaded mechanism makes it easy to insert or remove the smartphone from the holder with one hand, yet holds the smartphone or tablet securely. The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the Slim-Grip Ultra helps keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed, making it ideal for use with the side accessible buttons on the Galaxy S6 edge or Galaxy Note Edge. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that can be customized to work with the spring-loaded holder to extend as large as 7.5 ” tall (using all four long legs) or as compact as 4” (using all four short legs) depending on the size of your device.
The recommended configuration for most smartphones and midsize tablets is to have 2 short legs on the top of the holder and 2 of the longer legs on the bottom of the holder. The mount features a suction base made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This type of suction is DEHP-free, which is ideal for those who prefer a more option.
