AV-JEFE PHM942 is a professional condenser handheld microphone. Its hypercardioid polar pattern delivers smooth, accurate vocal reproduction while providing maximum rejection to sounds arriving diagonally behind the microphone. The microphone can be powered by a 9V – 52V DC phantom power source.
PHM942 can provide better performer sound isolation and effective feedback rejection. Its consistent reliable sound with enhanced proximity effect— an increase in bass or low frequency response when a sound source is close to a microphone – and great ambient noise rejection makes PHM942 a valuable tool for recording or live performance.
PHM942 has an efficient internal shockmount system which eliminates handling and cable noise, and its multi-stage integral breath shield effectively reduces wind noise and speech produced “popping sounds” when performers work extremely close.
