About the Author

Debbie Bliss studied fashion and textiles at art college in London and after graduation gained renown for her knitted plants, which were sold in such shops as Liberty of London. She has designed fashion knitwear for magazines in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States; taught at such events as Vogue Knitting Live and on Vogue Knitting Tours; and lectured at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto and the Fashion and Textile Museum in London.
Debbie has published over forty books of knitting designs for adults, children, and the home. In 2000, she launched a highly successful brand of hand-knitting yarns that are sold worldwide. She was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for her services to hand knitting and the craft industry in 2015.
