They incorporate pivoting 1" titanium tweeters that are center-mounted in their massive magnet 8" woofers. Their tweeters offer highs beyond audible range. For assistance in reproducing mids (lost in many other in-wall speakers), the HT-8W also include 2.5" poly midranges. Self resetting thermal cut-offs protect them from over-load. Metal mounting brackets are included for post-construction. Optional M-8R rough-in-kits are available for pre-construction. Ideal for use with all surround and music formats. |
