Buttercups are also know by their almost unpronounceable botanical name "Ranunculus". The peony multi-petaled type flowering blooms are extremely vibrant in color and very showy. Good as cut flowers in bouquets. Easy to grow and are deer resistant.
Ranunculus bulbs are widely available at retail nurseries and mail-order catalogs in mixed colors. However, ranunculus in single colors are unique and caught our eye, as they make for striking color displays in the garden. We have identified this color to be special.
