Rockabilly Pioneer On 180g Vinyl LP!
Gene Vincent was an American musician who pioneered rock and roll and rockabilly. The opener on this album, his 1956 top ten hit with his Blue Caps, "Be-Bop-A-Lula", is considered a significant early example of rockabilly. Following up "Be-Bop-A-Lula" was the critically acclaimed "Race With The Devil" and two other million-sellers, "Bluejean Bop" and "Lotta Lovin'". Gene Vincent is most remembered today for his recordings of the 1950s and early 1960s, like those collected on this LP. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Vincent remains one of America's biggest legends of rock and roll.
