Manual FAQ list:
Q1: The TV has images and no sound?
A1: This situation is caused by the hdmi audio signal output from the hdmi source device, which is not supported by the back-end TV.
The process is as follows:
A: Please turn the DIP switch to 2.0 mode, restart the audio splitter, and observe whether it is normal
B: If step A is invalid, please check the hdmi audio output mode of the HDMI source device, make sure to set to PCM or Auto mode
C: If the above steps are not effective, please connect the HDMI source device directly to the TV and observe whether it is normal
Q2: No sound from optical output?
A2: This situation is due to back-end amplifier and audio signal compatibility issues.
The process is as follows:
A: Observe the optical fiber transmitting port. Is there a red light? If not, please check the cable connection, or try to replace the hdmi source device. Under normal circumstances, the optical fiber transmitting port will have red light.
B: Please turn the DIP switch to 2.0 mode, restart the audio splitter and observe if it is normal
C: If step B is invalid, please check the hdmi audio output mode of the HDMI source device, make sure it is set to PCM or Auto mode. Then try step
B D: If the above steps are not effective, please connect the HDMI source device directly to the TV and observe whether it is normal
Q3: No sound or noise from the headphone output?
A3: This is because the front-end signal is a 5.1 -format audio signal.
The process is as follows:
A: Please turn the DIP switch to 2.0 mode, restart the audio splitter, and observe whether it is normal
B: If step A is invalid, please check the hdmi audio output mode of the HDMI source device, make sure it is set to PCM or Auto mode, and then try step
A C: If the above steps are not effective, please connect the HDMI source device directly to the TV and observe whether it is normal
Q4: Can the optical fiber output 5.1 signal?
A4: To output 5.1 signals, the front-end equipment needs to be set accordingly.
The process is as follows:
A: Please turn the DIP switch to 5.1 mode, restart the audio splitter, and observe whether it is normal
B: If step A is invalid, please check the hdmi audio output mode of the HDMI source device, make sure to set to RAW Data or Auto mode, then try step
A C: If the above steps have no effect, please provide the model of the front-end and back-end hdmi source device and the model of the back-end TV.
Q5: Why does the headphone output have noise under 5.1 signal condition?
A5: Because this product has only pcm 2.0 decoding function, there is no 5.1 signal decoding function such as DTS and Dolby
