Performing with Blakey, “Mosiac” features critically-acclaimed jazz greats like Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, and Curtis Fuller. This version of The Jazz Messengers performed together from 1961 through 1964.

This title is newly remastered for vinyl as part of an overall Blue Note 75th anniversary vinyl reissue campaign spearheaded by current Blue Note Records President, Don Was.
