Boveda--the Global Leader in 2-way humidity control--is pleased to introduce their new Starter Kit for large wooden instruments (acoustic guitar and bass, cello, double bass, bassoon, bass clarinet and more). Their system automatically protects instrument against warping, shrinking, cracks and other potential damage caused by lack of humidification or too much humidification. It does so seamlessly without refilling or wetting sponges, snakes or discs. Simply place a Boveda packet in each sleeve of both saddlebags and then place one over the strings into the sound hole and drape the other over the neck and close case. Boveda does the rest, keeping instrument at a constant relative humidity between 40-50% while it's in its case (closed)...the ideal climate for instrument. Just change the packets when they get hard...easy, simple, and effective.
