Based on the original Dark Horse comic book character created by Ron Marz and Luke Ross, both of whom have been actively involved in this sculpture from its inception, the fantastically detailed work depicts Asukai Shiro, a Japanese samurai from the year 1704. His saga of pursuit and revenge, in order to rescue his lost love, Lady Yoshiko, inspired one of Dark Horse Comics' most popular series of 2005. Working with one of the best sculptors in the field, Ruben Procopio, this 11 1/4" tall statue captures every nuance and color of the character. Posed in battle, amidst the detritus of feudal combat, this masterpiece is limited to 950 pieces, each hand numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity.
