Travel the world as a race driver in GRID where the emphasis is on the racing. Get behind the wheel in Europe, the US and Japan with distinct racing styles for each venue. European courses are track based, US courses take you through population centers and the Japanese put on drift and other underground-style events. GT and Touring cars are your mounts of choice in Europe while muscle cars are kings of the road in America and you'll be sliding through urban race courses in tricked-out sports cars in the Land of the Rising Sun and open-wheel racing in multiple locations. As a driver, you'll be out to earn money – by winning, being part of a winning team, sponsorship bonuses and taking on the courses at higher difficulty levels. Your winnings will go towards purchasing vehicles new or by in-game online auctions. As you twist and turn through the incredibly realistic courses, your AI opponents will happily smash you against the wall with damage affecting how your car handles. Head-on collisions will put you completely out of the race, but the flashback rewind option lets you go back and avoid danger.
