"Don’t Take Your Guns To Town", Cash's breakout single on Columbia; "Five Feet High And Rising", "Frankie's Man, Johnny" and "Rock Island Line" are among the hits here. The final four tracks show Cash's penchant for "concept" albums. "The Rebel – Johnny Yuma" (the theme for the Western TV show "The Rebel") was a hit single. With the addition of "Remember The Alamo", "The Ballad Of Boot Hill" and "Lorena", Cash presents four songs reminiscing on 19th century life in the West, something Cash would revisit frequently in his career.
