Working closely with McPherson Cellars, Dave Phinney chose to showcase Rhône varieties with this Red blend sourced from within the Texas High Plains AVA, a premier site in Texas with red clay and sandy soils. Deep garnet red swirls in the glass and opens with a bouquet of fresh herbs, cedar, and ripe, red berries. Bursting with bright, fresh blackberries, Bing cherries, cassis, and Hollywood plum. The palate is long and lengthy, highlighting Texas' ability to produce wines which are both big and powerful, but also delicate and restrained.
