•Tito's Handmade Vodka is distilled from 100% corn and is certified Gluten-Free and OU Kosher.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is distilled using old-fashioned copper pot stills, inspired by the distillation methods of fine single malt scotches and high-end French cognacs
In the mid-nineties, founder Bert “Tito” Beveridge obtained the first legal permit to distill in Texas. Funding himself by opening 19 personal credit cards, he built a one-room shack on 12 acres of land in southeast Austin and created Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is known for its philanthropic mission. Tito's empowers employees, customers, and fans to make the world a better place through the “Love, Tito’s.” This program turns spirits into love and goodness by joining forces with nonprofits across the county to host events, participate in service projects, and give back to communities in meaningful ways.
Since the beginning, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has been committed to rescuing and protecting the animals that have come into the lives of so many employees, often serendipitously — many of whom now thrive alongside team members at the distillery and office. From this movement, the Vodka for Dog People program was created with a vision to better the lives of pets and the families who love them, far and wide.
Critics call Tito's Handmade Vodka "a homegrown symphonic spirit to applaud" and claim "it can go head to head with any of the world’s greats and not break a sweat.”
Tito’s Handmade Vodka was founded by sixth-generation Texan, Tito Beveridge. His career track took a few turns, but between oil fields and mortgage lending, he found time to do what he loved; make people smile with spirits. Tito got a kick out of infusing vodka for friends and handing out bottles at parties. He quickly became known as "the vodka guy." Willing to risk it all, he pursued the career of his dreams and set out to build a distillery. Tito found a plot of land in rural Austin, constructed a one-room shack and a homemade pot still, and funded his passion of making “a vodka so smooth you could drink it straight” by opening 19 personal credit cards. He fought Texas laws, took on nearly $90,000 of debt, and for several years, played a one-man show to get his dream going, overseeing all distilling, hand-bottling, and selling during the hours in between. In 1997, he sold his first case. Over two decades later, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has gained a reputation for its high-quality product, charitable contributions, and its goal to make people happy while making the world a better place.
