BASSO-1010UC is an easy-to-use USB to serial converter that mounts serial communications ports to system via USB BUS. It supports serial communication speed of 921.6Kbps and built-in 15kV surge protector for compatibility and reliability. RS-422/485 BASSO-1010UC includes 1 port serial panel with DB9 male connector and is available in RS-422/485 interface. Simply plugging in USB port will create COM port for connecting modems, printers, barcode scanners or any other serial devices. LED shows communication status of the port. No additional power supply is required. USB Specification 2.0, Full-Speed BASSO-1010UC supports USB 2.0 and is compatible with 1.1., supporting USB Full-Speed. Latching USB Connector applied SystemBase’s USB Serial Converters are all equipped with latching USB connector. Latches on connector side prevent USB from being detached by external shocks. It is compatible with existing USB connectors on the market. Slew-Rate Limit Control The BASSO-1010UC has a slew rate limiting function that inhibits electromagnetic emissions when communicating in RS-422/RS-485 interface. When this function is activated, the maximum communication speed is limited to 250kbps. However, it prevents malfunctioning of equipment in electromagnetic-sensitive environments such as hospitals and laboratories.
