Bright, solid, smooth - you can't go wrong with Kansas City Blend. Named after the city we call home, it was one of our very first blends. In 1994 we spent about six months refining and perfecting this coffee, with a goal to create a blend that is approachable for the broadest spectrum of tastes and preferences, but also interesting enough to impress the most discriminating coffee connoisseurs. We put in a lot of hard work to achieve this very ambitious goal. We believe we've succeeded with our Kansas City Blend. After all these years, it remains our number one coffee today.

This blend is full and balanced. An invitingly buttery aroma breaks into an acidity that is bright and electrifying. Sweet tangerine citrus and ripe pear flavors mix perfectly with a smooth and full nutty finish.

The Roasterie Air-Roasted Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster that has been owned and operated in Kansas City, Missouri for the past 25 years. The Roasterie still believes in partnering with farmers at origin, in mutually beneficial direct trade relationships - allowing the farmers to get much higher prices for their coffees than they would with other trade systems. Those beans are then roasted using a convection air-roasting method instead of the more traditional drum-roasting method, to ensure superior consistency and a tastier, smoother cup of coffee.
