It is a great way to boost your WiFi signal over a long distance when using with a compatible dual band wireless receiver like ALFA AWUS036ACH. It includes the antenna and mounting bracket, brand new in box from ALFA Network. A directional antenna concentrates its gain all in the direction it is aimed. It will do a better job piercing obstacles and interference in that direction, but will not pick up as many signals in total as an omni-directional antenna.
