ALFA ARS-NT5B is a 5 dBi omni-directional dual band Wi-Fi antenna for use with 802.11ac and 802.11n/g/b networks. It can receive and transmit on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. This can be used with any brand Wi-Fi adapter or wireless router that uses RP-SMA antenna ports. It can be used with dual band routers and adapters, or single band. It is compatible with all Wi-Fi standards including 802.11a, b, g, n and the newest standard 802.11ac. This is the replacement stock antenna that comes with some ALFA adapters like AWUS036AC and AWUS036ACH. It can also be used on other brand equipment including compatible ASUS 802.11ac routers. While most Wi-Fi adapters with external antenna ports have RP-SMA connectors, some routers use RP-TNC connectors, so be sure to check what connector type your device has before buying, or email our team with your brand/model router or adapter and we can confirm compatibility for you. This is a low cost way to replace a missing Wi-Fi antenna, or upgrade from a lower gain antenna. It is also a great option for those in the market for a dual band antenna.
